  • @lansfordno9mine you should check out this guys setup. It's unbelievable!!!! Search Reid running a line shaft. It won't let me put a link in the comment :-(

  • sweet!

  • Rockin it OLD SKOOL.

    Awesome.

  • that's pretty sweet right there...

  • That seems to be many revolutions before a startup! What kind of spark plug are you running in that thing? (a CHAMPION 25?) One machine turns all? lol Thanks for sharing this interesting video!!!

  • you worry me steamer with that exhaust leak on your exhaust pipe i hope u fix that being in a enclosed shop with a gass engine running buddy

  • @biggdaddy2001 Thanks I do have that on the top of my list.

  • 0:12 is that a dynamo or motor in the back?

  • @MrSciencetificsasuke it is a fairbanks morse motor. I use that to run the lineshaft also.

  • I love the pendant lighting! did you make the pulley clutch engagement system? if so could you make a video of how it works?

  • @MrSciencetificsasuke No the clutch is a original that I had laying around. Not sure what it was used for originally. I did remove the step pulley that was on it and replaced it with the one I needed for the drill press. I do have another one that is similar that I could show you if you would like.

  • very nice. Tom

  • @brooksduc Thanks you sir.

  • Thanks for all the comments. Shartne I will do that thanks.

  • Wow nice set up. Is that a generator above that boiler thing? Or an electic motor as an alternative power source?

  • @1944johndeerel that's a electric motor. It was on the lathe when I bought it. It is for the days I don't want to run the novo. :-)

  • Very nice!

  • That is super cool, i really envy you although i should not since i have some cool stuff too, yours just look cooler right now!

  • @gertsafari :-) thanks buddy

  • That is one of the coolest shops I have ever seen. Put some high heat exhaust Permetex gasket sealer on the joint to seal it up so you wont get gases or have to smell the exhaust. Man that is a sweet shop now. I am happy for you with I had one just like it.

  • @shartne Thanks I will seal that exhaust up.

  • You have taken your shop to the next level !!!

  • You sir are living the dream!

If only I had a workshop big enough to do that....
