  • This is NOT the authentic Puerto Rican receipt.

  • Trust Me....Everybody knows...

    Seems like a nice family...

  • This reminds me of a drink we make in the Caribbean called "Piña Colada" which aside from being made with crushed pineapples and pineapple juice is very similar to what you made. Must say, I love your no nonsense sense of humor and charm :p and I really love your vids and recipes.

    Btw, cute baby ;)

  • Did Frank say… a spanish frog (Coqui) the was funny

  • Hi Diana Hope all is well just wana say i love your videos and your family is lovely keep up the good work

  • it is a shame there are so many negetive ppl i think diana u are doing a great job keep it up

  • @BETHSANGIE I was born in Puerto Rico and I don't like Arroz con Gandules or other Spanish dish, so just because PrincessDiana is trying to show someone else her recipes does not mean that she is trying to hide where she came from. People like you need to stay off youtube.

  • su video es comico se ve alegre y gracias por compartir pero ona pregunta no le echaste huevo ay otros video gue se le echa huevo love ivy

  • Hi PrincessDiana! Thank you for posting this video... my husband is Puerto Rican and I was trying to find the easiest way of making coquito... I hope he likes it. I'll be practicing and keeping them in the fridge. How long before do you think I would be able to make them and keep them in the fridge. Does it get bad?

  • lmao "frog juice" haha...it looks good(:

  • Esta senora se abochorna de ser Latina! la vi una ves haciendo un arroz junto y decia que a ella no le gustaba. Senora tenga dignidad y deje de entonces postiar la comida Puertorriquena!

  • @BETHSANGIE if you plan on telling me off please do so in English so that others can understand the venom you are spewing.

And have a lovely day...hope your foul attitude gets better or least doesn't spoil someone else's day

  • @PrincessDiana161

i love it!!!! keep doing ur thing!!!!

señora bethsangie, a mi no me gusta algunas comida puertorriqueñas y no por eso no dejare de cocinarla! solo pq a mi no me guste no significa q mi familia tambien!

  • I love the way you cook. You can see your happy when you cook :). You've got a great familly from what i see. God bless you !

  • she is just precious1!!!!

  • I thought your kids were still in school! I didnt expect that you have a kid that has a kid :D

  • thank you for giving us the recipe for coquito...we are all trying to keep tradition alive...thank you

  • Hi PrincessDiana, I love coquito & I was taught 2 make it just da way make it. I love it. I put more rum 2 make it stronger but not 2 much cause u know that coquito sneaks up on u. LOL

This recipe is not for lazy people it is just a quicker way and still get great results. PrincessDiana you took ur time & effort 2 give ur recipe to people who didn't know how 2 make coquito & are grateful for watching ur video. 5*****

  • Thank you sweetie

    (((HUG)))

  • hey thanks for the video, my mom puts co-co pieces...

  • i been looking for recipes on video and this is the easiest way! im colombian but once i tried coquito there is no other thing i want to drink!i also im a sweet condensed milk addict. love your video and you have a great personality!! i enjoyed this recipe a lot, thanks keep the good work!!

  • Lexis looks like granny :)

  • i am not puerto rican but the recipe is awesome.. i just finish making a coquito.. cheers!

  • I Lmao when i see all these recipes! My mom used to make it from scratch like my Great Grandmother. Its not "cinnamon water" it's made with Cinnamon, Star anise, Lemon rind and and a few other things...and not just One cup of rum. Its sad that the real Puerto rican traditions have gone. You don't HAVE to COOK eggs. Thats not the way Real Boricuas made it. But thanks anyway. Its a cool way for a fast lazy recipe. Not original though.

  • I know it;s not original sweetie... but it's good :)

I wish I had my grandmother's recipe... it was great

  • Hello Princess Diana161... I was taught 2 make coquito da same way u make it & I love it. Even tho' I put more rum just 2 spike it up more. What counts here is that u took da time & effort 2 give people on youtube ur recipe and I am sure they love it cause I make it da same way. 5*****.

  • thanks, my parents wanted this badly. so thanks

  • I haven't tried it yet but I love your attitude and holiday spirit.

  • I want to give you a pin from the Philippines too!!! T_T but i dunno how !! T_T Waaahhh

  • I think you and Frankie are awesome! This recipe is great. Especially if you plan on giving it out, you never know if someone may be allergic to eggs. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your Holidays.

  • You are soo awesome. I stumbled upon your ice cream maker video today and I loved it so much that I ended up watching about 8 consecutive videos from you. I can't wait to try your recipes! Thanks for posting :)

  • why can't use use coconut milk?

  • Not even close to coquito this is to sweet!

  • I used your recipe and it was good... I am looking forward to making it for years to come..Thanks mama..

  • you're welcome sweetness... glad you enjoyed it :)

  • hii diana! i just tried out the recipe! i followed exactly the same except that i use malibu's coconut rum and mine turn out super sweet hahas.. but it's really yummy! so maybe i might add lesser sweetened condense milk.. maybe 3/4 or 1/2 a can =D but thanks for the recipe!!!

  • hey diana! can you tell me the recipe. i mean half of the proportion.

  • bueno diana gracias por la receta, voy a empezar a hacer my coquito para las navidades. gracias

  • loved it!

  • if you boiled the milks with the spices and then add the rum you would have the haitian version, called cremas

  • shes nuts but funny

  • "Coquito" also known as Puerto Rican eggnog.

  • I like this recipe because it does not contain eggs I was looking for a recipe like this, thanx! Your baby it's gourgeous..

  • i have tried coquito and its really strong nobody told me it was an Alcoholic beverage

  • Thx I am so using this recipe for fathers day! Your grandbaby is adorable God Bless!

  • I remember every xmas a friend of mine made this and always made a bottle for me. Your recipe is definately a keeper love the cinnamon water added to it. Thanks!!! Keep them coming. And your Granddaughter is adorable :)

  • That baby has the cutest ears! I love how you explain stuff. You deserve to be paid to do this.

  • OMG her ears are my favorite... I call them potato chip ears... we have nicknamed her chippy ears and I constantly nibble on them LOL

  • dnt read this(cuz it really wrks). u will gt kissd on the nearest frieday by the love of ur life. 2mara wll b the bst day of ur life hwever if you dnt post ths comment 2 at least 3 vids u will die withn 2 days nw uv startd readn this dnt stp

  • i'm thinking of subtracting the sweetened condensed milk and substitute that with 4 egg yolks......yeah, i'll try that....good video!

  • Err.. Is Cream of Coconut same as Coconut Milk?

  • No... they're very different

  • Oh Okay, Thanks =)

    You Rock btw.

  • Diane,

Have you ever made Dulce de Leche?

This is an Argentine caramel spread made with goat's milk and sugar.

The spread goes good on toast or pasteries.

  • I make it, but not with goats milk. I use condensed milk :)

  • I copied this video in the first week in March and sent it to three different friends.. one posted it onto her Myspace Blog! another one has made Coquito twice already.. none of us are waiting for a Holiday.. This has been such a treat! Thanks so much for the post!

  • I like your personality and the way you deliver the information. So real and likeable. Your should send your videos to the food network---who knows, you might be the next superstar. good luck

  • yeaaa. you should be on food network! lolie. id definiately watch you =] you are like a cool grandma. lolie!

  • I think this could work on food network. she would be the young and fresh competition for paula deen. Frankie just needs to get a certification in camera work. princess needs assistant in the back for cooking. Start off with an episode a week. Then build to twice a week. Yes you can!!

  • thank you so much!

  • I think you should send in a few videos into the food network as well, seriously, if you don't i will for you!

  • I honestly don't think she should go to Food Network. Because she would have to go by certain rules and she may not be able to do it like she does now. What would we do then? Plus it's awesome with Frankie there. She should just get paid doing it as she is now.

  • Finally someone that gets it... FoodNetwork would censor me too much :)

Besides, you guys are too much fun!!!

  • I'm suprised you responded to my comment. That's never happened to me. I feel special. =). You would still be awesome being censored. But it makes my day with you and Frankie being your normal selves.

  • No one has ever responded to you??? That's fcked up. I try to answer as many comments as I.

  • Thanks =) By the way, do you have an Iowa pin? That would be neat if I could get you one.

  • I completely agree that you should be on the Food Network. I love watching your videos. You are just awesomely fun. Thanks for the recipes!

  • Coquito smoke, dont breath this.

  • this chick should be on food network

  • Thanks for adding one of our Puerto Rican Holiday Traditions your the best.

  • She is so sweet, her little wave! Your house seems so warm and inviting! I bet the holidays are wonderful there! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

  • my bro in law made some coquito for new years

  • LOL! Closet babies and cimanimanin water.. It's no wonder why I loves your videos! I *ALWAYS* leave with a smile! And wishing that I lived next door! Haha.. Thanks for a year full of laughs.. Take care you guys..

    ♫ ToMMeRz!! ♫

  • I always enjoy your recipes, but the ones with liquor are particularly well received...;-)

  • Happy New Year!....another great recipe, THANK YOU!

P.S. Im still think you need your own show on Food network! I wrote them once and told them about you..hehe...maybe I should do it again!!

  • Such a cute baby. Lexi too. You like to get me drunk, don't you. I make everything you record - as long as it has alcohol in it.
