  • I'm the grand nephew of one of the men who served aboard the Trigger. I would like to make this model with my kids. I would love to know where you got the graphics for the insignia and flag?

    Thanks

    Doug

  • @mrluptak I made them with white decal sheet on an inkjt printer (laser is better if you have one). any hobby or craft store can give you the stuff. The images I made from pictures downloaded off of the internet.

  • +++++++++++++

  • Thankks Maxsmodels for the Link -

    Very nice dedication to those Submariners on Eternal Patrol

    Herman Moore

    Hope I can do the same with my model of the USS TANG Sub one day when I get round to building it.

  • I had one of these but Never Finished it :/

  • My father is doing research to find out why the Trigger and several other subs were forming a wolf pack in March of 1945. He says we broke Japans code and the Yamamoto was coming out of harbor. (one way voyage). They sent out mine sweepers and recon planes with new Magnetic sub detection technology that found the USS Trigger. PM for more info.

  • We also had a family member who went down with the Trigger. My dad has done tons of research on the ship and Frank "Jack" Niles. He really liked the model.

  • @kjsurma I am very glad to hear that. God bless them all who serve.

  • Very respectful and well done! Your building skills are as good as your flying skills. I love how you weathered it.
