I'm the grand nephew of one of the men who served aboard the Trigger. I would like to make this model with my kids. I would love to know where you got the graphics for the insignia and flag?
@mrluptak I made them with white decal sheet on an inkjt printer (laser is better if you have one). any hobby or craft store can give you the stuff. The images I made from pictures downloaded off of the internet.
My father is doing research to find out why the Trigger and several other subs were forming a wolf pack in March of 1945. He says we broke Japans code and the Yamamoto was coming out of harbor. (one way voyage). They sent out mine sweepers and recon planes with new Magnetic sub detection technology that found the USS Trigger. PM for more info.
We also had a family member who went down with the Trigger. My dad has done tons of research on the ship and Frank "Jack" Niles. He really liked the model.

Very respectful and well done! Your building skills are as good as your flying skills. I love how you weathered it.
