I am guessing that the "Five Days from Home" soundtrack was released by MCA's record division before Universal actually gave the film a national release. So the music was already available, even if the film wasn't.
LOTRF was six years away. The music is "Come with Me Now," Bill Conti's theme from the film "Five Days from Home." I'm not sure how KABC got their hands on it before the movie was released in January 1979, however.

That song was made in 1978 and was AMLA's theme as long as Regis was there. I always associated the music with him more than I did Lifestyles
