Facts are, the PSP is better graphically, but the DS has more - and many better games. I own both, but the PSP wasn't played for ages.
ecartman: Yes, the PSP version has blood, it's just not as graphically intense as the console versions. I have this on PSP and XBox360 and I enjoy both. I was actually very surprised to find that I enjoy the PSP version this much; even better than GoW Chains of Olympus IMO. I like the storyline and varied content. If you have any doubts, then wait for a used copy to hit Amazon or Gamestop; maybe try to borrow or rent it first.
Yes, I traded GoW on PSP, as I had played-through so many times that I lost count. GoW is a solid PSP game, but I like DI for different reasons and the story is longer as you descend through the 9 circles.
assassins craad bloodlines isnt so great, not sure if its worth the money, but since its only 20 i might consider, but i was disappointed about it, about the rest, im not sure
you should get this on ps3 because it's got nicer graphics.. but same gameplay and scenes..

Most people voted this an 8.5 on Gamespot and I will say it's a 9.0. Of course it's not as good as the console version, but no PSP game ever is, so that's not a shock to anybody. Overall, this game is more fun than GoW because of the bosses, beast control, and storyline. Only the graphics are slightly inferior to GoW, but that's because DI is longer and has movie-like cutscenes.

@GodOfWar3rocks i bought resistance retribution when it first came out, and it was ok, but i didn't see the big deal with it. everyone made it seem better than it really was in my opinion, and it has very little replayability. i don't know for sure if dantes inferno will be better or not, but i have very high hopes for it. i've played a few circles in the ps3 version and as long as they keep it as similar as possible its gonna be really good.
Just so you know, Resistance: Retribution is compatible with Resistance 2. In other words, when you connect your PSP to your PS3 you will get upgrades to both the PSP game and the PS3 game. I think that would be a perk to purchase it IF you already have the Resistance 2.
i have resistance its pretty good game if u like shooter style games and dante's inferno is real good if you like god of war style fighting games in my opinon they are both alsome watch some videos on youtube about resistance retribution before you choose
The console versions were out on 2/9 in North America, but the PSP version is not out until 3/1. I think that's why people are confused; usually consol and portable versions release on the same date when marketed on dual platforms, but there have been technical glitches on the PSP version, so delayed twice.

I was going to buy the XBox version, but rather wait for Bad Company 2 and red Dead Redemption in March and April respectively. God I hate EA right now, they didn't release this game on the psp platform the same day than the ps3 platform. Now I have to wait one more month to try it. Assholes!!

1414RM: The PSP version comes out 2 to 3 weeks after the console version. I was going to buy the XBox version, but rather wait for Bad Company 2 and red Dead Redemption in March and April respectively. I'll get Dante's for PSP instead - looks good, but most people are saying the low ratings is because the reviewers feel like this is a rip-off od God of War.

STOP FUCKING COMPARING GAMES WHEN THEY ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT! I am fucking tired of scrubs comparing Battlefield Bad Company 2 to Modern Warfare. Two totally different types of gameplay are involved so just shut the fuck up. As for Dante's Inferno, Yes it's a hack-and-slash, but that does not make it ABSOLUTELY SIMILAR TO EVERY OTHER HACK-AND-SLASH GAME. SHUT THE FUCK UP!!
