The yellow is not the answer. It's lights up green when it's right. They accidentally put the yellow up before he said final. So it really doesn't matter
@DogOfHades You are wrong.. He says "I think james is the only one who was english" and it lights up, then it goes out, then he answers c and says final answer, and then it lights up and locks in.
Heh, this proves that they can "unlock" a final answer, something contestants tried to do when they answered too quickly. This contestant is lucky that the software used to run the show actually can unlock itself, it would suck if the strap had to stay orange until it is allowed to pass as right or wrong answer.
At least James Cook didn't light up in green. Then he would have been suspected of cheating (especially because he's won more than any regular contestant all season.)
@jailhousews thats what i thought. one of the guys behind the board was like "k hes taking that one" then he changed his mind then said "k guess hes not" then unhighlights the answer.
@jailhousews Wrong. It's true that it always lights up yellow, but only AFTER the contestant utters the magic words 'lock in *letter*, final answer'. It WAS an error.
@brytonlaw but if u watch closely it fades to green when he gets told the answer was correct. No, they did not give him the answer. they made the mistake in thinking that was his final answer. but you have your opinion. its whatever.

"C, final answer" then button turns yellow. So no error. You can try and make it complicated but it's not.

Crap, the top comments are both +10 but they disagree on whether it's an error. Who should I believe?
