@grumpyburnside ...I agree...Wonderful song, yet cheesy video...I heard Martin Fry purposely made the video silly to get back at the record company...The hot blonde chick and the bald guy were not musicians, but hired hands to give the video a silly affect...Just a rumor I heard...
Martin Fry. What can you say..Awesome voice and great personailty. He sounds as good today as he did 30 years ago. What better compliment can I give the man than that.
Kids would laugh today at this stuff. But for me, ABC defined the 80s. I still enjoy how much fun artists has at the time. It was all fun, weird, colorful, and experimental. Whether bands were gay or not, who cared? It was just fun music to listen to.
Another reason why CD sales are down...not because of downloads and piracy...but because they don't make music like this anymore. Can anybody here name the current number 1 hit on the Billboard? I couldn't. Music nowadays is CRAP.
This is the only song/vid of this type I ever had a special affinity for. It was so care free and sincere. I was in my twenties when it came out, and it brings back so many wonderful (and sometimes terrible) memories. Thank you for posting this.
Man, I thought now one could out do Pantera for hardcore video performance, I guess I was wrong. One dark video, and depressing song. Just kidding. Love the song.
This song brings back bittersweet memories. The song itself is very sweet, I remember how surprised I was when I bought the 45 of this song, and the 'naughty' part the girl says on the B-Side, but hey, I was also around 14 years old, so it seemed shocking then. Anyway, wonderful upload - beautiful song and awesome video!
Great Song !!! This song stands the test of time. Great video too!

To all the haters: The day you have the balls to rock one of these dude's haircuts is the day you can insult them.

Really great pop song, but the video takes everything that was awful about the '80's and puts it all together with a horrible result, in my opinion.

I think the fun of 80's music videos is the way that they made it very bizarre, love it

This song was awesome and the video the most bizarre ever!
80's madness and coolness rolled into one!
A "you had to be there" time, most definitely ;)
