damned when i made my way to sacrificial chamber i was only like 15 level or something, armed with like Lucky revolver (unique .357 pistol magnum who isn't concerned) and wore Lightweight Metal armor as an apparel with sheriff's hat...LOL and even with such eqipment i manage to kill every single robot down there ALONE...

I'm not surprised. This is by far the creepiest thing I've ever seen in a Fallout game. I recomend going to the Fallout Wiki page. It goes into even more info about the vault than those holotapes do.

Getting through this is actually easy. Just make sure you have a few Stealth Boys and an Anti Materal rifle. I wouldn't recomend even watching that death slideshow. Sit down get up activate the Stealth Boy and get the rifle out. Just move around or you'll get torn to shreads!

Most people probabily know this already. I just thought I'd thow it out there. One other thing, Bring Pulse Grenades.

@xtinguishr425 explore all the vault, you will find the overseers password, I think is on the auditory close to cafeteria, once you have it is easy to access to the death chamber, enter to the chamber but not sit, go outside and travel to gun runners store, get some EMP guns, come back, before sit on the chair put some EMP mines by the walls, and be ready to use the EMP gun adquired. Have fun and dont forget to use the mainframe to get 10000XP points.

On the PC version of Fallout NV, I used a godmode cheat and pwnt all those robots. Then I walked out and felt like a big man. Turned off God mode, then got shot in the face by Cesar's Legion Assassins.

@DarkPortalRogue do not sit on the chair, go outside of the vault, travel to gun runners store, you can find that the robot is selling EMP guns and EMP mines, buy some stimpacks at the clinic also, if you have a stealthboy will be useful, after that come back, put mines by the walls, sit on the chair and have ready the EMP gun, dont forget to use the mainframe computer to get 10000 XP points.

Pulse is the easiest. You can also clip mines through the walls before they open up. In addition if you don't have pulse gun you can also use Gauss Rifle as an alternative high power gun. Stealth Boy can let you sneak undetected to Robotics expert disable them.

There's a reason Brotherhood quests eventually lead you here. You are not supposed to survive if you are low level without Pulse Gun. I had no idea what this Vault held inside it when I went there the first time so I had left my Pulse Gun in my Presidential Suite. I was level 30 and got raped with Rex and Arcade by the robots while trying to kill them with Pulse Grenades in V.A.T.S with my ridiculously low explosives skill. Second try, This Machine, Guns 100 and no V.A.T.S... No problems.

what happened was the government wanted to experiment on this vault: to see if people will stick up for themselves or just go with what they are told, 5 people where left after hundreds of people died, they sent a message to the reactor to say ENOUGH then since they where so brave to stand up for them selves they where free to go. 2 people could not live with what they saw so they committed suicide. if you look around the vaul and read all notes in any vault it will reveal its story pretty neat

Before you sit in the chair to start the slideshow you can toss frag mines -through- the walls. They don't detonate until the bots spawn at the end of the show, but when they do they also help with the turrets. Also, once the show starts you can get out of the chair and move to the back of the room. Then VATS and a pocketful of pulse grenades will finish off the bots.

This part was so creepy! I used the alien blaster on the robots (and I had Boone with me), so I managed to survive. The scariest part was that anticipation. The tunnel, walking into the light, and that slide show built up the anticipation so much. I was expecting something really messed up to happen :/

The reason why they made this chamber is because the Robco Queen and by queen i mean the core the system EVERY SINGLE electronics was controled by the core the core went crazy i said they had to sacrifice one of there own or all of them would die soon... people started going crazy and tried to kill the core and leave the vault sadly she killed all of them..

I seems alot of people have trouble with this. I play on hard and only like rex as a follower. I used four pulse grenades (because of the close proximity the robots were to each other) and just killed the turents with a basic 10mm submachine gun. Easy.

@TheSweetyKins I guess my problem was I figured, given the nature of the room, you weren't supposed to survive. Now that I'm leveled a bit more, I intend to go back. Also: I didn't have pulse grenades at the time, which would definitely help.

This is alot simpler. go to the silver rush and buy the pulse gun. almost instant kill on every robot. and btw if you finish this quest by selecting the bottom option and hitting it over and over you get unlimited xp but dont exit the screen
