Hello thanks for this comment, not I did not try the triumph but it pleases me well it is the same style of motorcycle as the VFR many common point. The GS500 is a good motorcycle, an ideal for begin. Safe journey
Hey - super! I lived in France many years but am now back in the US. I am considering buying a VFR'07 as my next bike (currently 'learning' on a GS500). Have you tried the Triumph ST and/or the Ducati ST3? I am 6'1'' (187cm) with longish arms. I'll try and test all three, but would like to hear from someone who owns one of these bikes.
Most reviews of the VFR are brilliant, though some seem to have strong feelings against the linked brakes. Anyway... safe riding man (yes, get those leathers!)

Loved the little "chirp" from the back end entering the bridge :) (linked brakes?)
