  • 1 Corinthians 1:21

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

    1 Corinthians 1:18

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

If you think this is foolishness maybe you should check yourself and see if you are perishing... God help us to love truth and have a right spirit

  • What's with all the hate on the UPC? I don't know any Pentecostal people that go around commenting on other denominations' videos, calling their preachers fat.

Even when he says we don't know all that god wants to show us yet, you find some excuse to attack us because oh, maybe we're not so proud.

  • Pastor , you need to know grace . The UPC and you have no clue about salvation .

  • @mitchdmmeyer Careful, YOUR grace is showing, not...

  • Arnold is well known for spewing divise language that Jesus himself would abhor. Way to draw people with the love of Christ Jeff.

  • @rick9565 I'm not quite sure what you mean by "divise language" but I nontheless wish to enlighten you to the fact that this sermon has a lot more in it than what you just saw. Also, this was at a conference for preachers, not a tent meeting.

  • How sad it is and revelatory of our fallen state as a Nation, when preachers like this, with their tailored pants covering their sagging fat, tell people their greatest need is to know a God they themselves don't know. How sad to think that this man offered nothing regarding true Christian discipleship, yet aroused the emotions of those in attendance calling themselves disciples of Christ. It's clear to me the 'falling away' of 2Thess 2:3 is in full swing. Get ready Elect, watch & pray!

  • Thanks for posting. I always enjoy Bro. Arnold's stuff.

  • i have watched this video maybe last two years ago and since dt time i was challenged to make a move in order to know God more! i guess dz msg is a gr8 motivation for every1 of us to assess ourselves on what level of knowing God are we....It's true that an unknown God cannot be trusted! so we need to strive hard and really to take an effort to know him more!

  • Great preacher, his preaching have been a blessing to my life....Thankyou Lord for using this man.

  • love to hear his preaching. where is the rest?!!!

  • It is too bad that UPCI doesn't repent. There is still time. I know that the reason UPCI leadership voted to allow women "elders" is to elevate their wives but why would they sell their souls for that? UPCI repent while there is yet time! Jesus has a beard, you know!?

  • gazaking777,you are honestly-mistaken.or sincerely mistaken.

Be careful what you write on here.If you are not sure, dont bother judging and accusing. You must must know the Bilble and Jeff huh?Give me a break...

  • Some1 recorded bro. Arnold's sermon&posted it. He's not a TV preacher, we don't even have TV preachers in this mighty movement of GOD. Let the scoffers scoff on here with their comments, pray for them, that the Spirit gives them understanding. The poor guys&gals who don't believe can't discern spiritual things w/out being born again, the bible tells us that they'd say these things&think the truth to be foolishness, thus they un-wittingly fufill&prove the very book they don't believe to be true!

  • he isn't a tv preacher... hes a real preacher... ive had the privilage to hear him in person... his sermon was "let you problem push you into deliverence"

  • not rude,only honest!!!

  • @gazaking777

My friend, you honesty is not just telling the truth, it's making sure what you say is true before you say it. You don't know Jeff Arnold at all and what you're doing is throwing everyone into the same mold (that's in your mind)! How can you think you are honest when you write lies on this website by stating that he believes in double marriages (whatever in the world that means!). Jeff is my friend and he would never endorse Divorce (which is what you imply)! Nathan Reynolds

  • Are you confused? There is a reason for this, these preachers your watching believe in television and double marriages and much more..When you listen to confused preachers you become confused....

  • @gazaking777 You are extremely rude..this is not a 'tv' preacher..this man is heavenly anointed and appointed..I know him personally..He's a REAL man of God...He loves Jesus with all his heart!

  • Thats my pastor!! And when I say he is not a TV preacher trust me he is not!! He has been offered many times and declined! He has been asked not to return to certain conferences because he wasn't a tv preacher and spoke it the way it is!!

  • But he believes in double MARRIAGE which the bible is plainly against!!!

  • When does he say he believes in double marriage?

  • Since he is your pastor, ask him..

  • no because you can't tell me. You have nothing!

  • @gazaking777

I'm sorry you got confused somewhere in your past with a double-minded preacher. However, you should reconsider your own very nasty prejudice that you throw around publically. The Bible teaches us to judge with "sound judgement." I gently urge you to withhold stereotype judgment so that you can avoid being "judged" by Him who judges righteously. Because I personally know Jeff Arnold and have had him at my home, I know that you have no idea what you are saying. God forgive U!

  • This Guy is wonderful preacher and a Dear Brother. May God Bless Him for all His Love and effort to Help the Body Of Christ. I Love Jeff Arnold God Bless him

  • My grandfather knows him and said he used to do gospel magic too. Does anyone know of any clips of his doing gospel magic?

  • Deuteronomy 20:16-18 (King James Version) 16But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:

Joshua 6:21 (King James Version) 21And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.

    War Crimes ?

  • this is to answer prolaser quention if god lied to adam. no god didnt lie to adam wen god said u shall surely die it didnt mean that e would die instantly. men wer'nt or ppl were not suppose to die period but bcauz of adam's sin that is y ppl die or dat is y death came to b.

  • Answer this Danielle198721

If that is is true and Adam was imortal, why did God stop Adam eating from the tree of life?

22And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever .

  • he was speaking of himself as the tree of life. and they were cast out the garden because they disobeyed God.

  • in the DAY?

if words have meaning, in that day is not in nine hundred years.

Tree of Life, Tree of Knowlege of copie from Kemet

  • God commanded Israel, "thou shalt not kill" but said of Himself, " I kill and I make alive". This 'utter destruction' was not man's agenda, it was God's agenda. The Canaanites were the descendents of Ham (Noah's cursed son). These people strayed so far from the God of rainbow covenant that "the land spewed out it's inhabitants". It was God's judgement upon a wicked, idolatrous, fornicating, human sacrificing nation simultaneous to fulfilling His promise to Abraham that necessitated this.

  • Furthermore, this was prior to the dispensation of spirit. Basically the only way to stop sin in it's tracks was to snuff out the life that was infected by the spirit of sin. That's why God's people were stoned and sometimes animals were slain. But when Jesus comes on the scene, He refused to cast the first stone at the adulterous woman, but sends her free.

All of this is explained in the scripture, "the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life"

    God bless ya

  • no. the people of that city disobeyed God and had Christians killed. not war crimes

    defense

  • 1. This is from the Old Testament so the people could not have killed Christians.

    2. Did the animals and the young disobey?

This God sounds like a psychopathic lunatic. Its a load of rubbish WAKE UP

  • haha... oh yeah, the young were raised to believe what their fore fathers had done.

and this was a time for war.

everything there was tainted with wickedness.

    so they left nothing.

but just like any other faith slanderer you will retaliate with some other thing because you only want to argue. just because you choose not to believe doesnt mean im going to disbelieve.the only thing your kind of people do is try to kill other peoples hope

  • So tell me what the animals & young did

    that was so wicked ?

You're God sounds like a Devil

    "haha... oh yeah"

  • Genesis 2

17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the DAY that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

    Genesis 5

5And all the DAYS that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

Did God lie to Adam ?

  • @prolaser The day Adam ate the fruit his personal walk with God died losing a one on one relationship with a God that would vist in the cool of the evening is worstthan death

  • sweet down home preaching

  • If you deny the distinct, unique, personal identity of Jesus Christ within the Godhead by saying He was only the Father with a flesh mask on, you are Anti-Christ.

...All should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

    John 5:23

Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

    1 John 2:23

  • yer wrong on that, the reason when you have the SON that you have the Father, is cuz the FATHER is IN the SON, you have one, you have BOTH, you can't say Jesus is LORD ( JEHOVAH THE FATHER) but by the Holy Spirit my friend. Go ahead and say it! =) JESUS IS THE FATHER ! And then let's be expecting to bow before HIM on the ONE throne(not 3) that He(singular) sits on! =) He is good and merciful to us!

  • finally...someone that knows that the trinity is just one God.

God walked on earth in form of a man.

He chose be in the form of a human

but he himself was his father

john said he saw one on the thrown

im an uncle, im a cousin, im a son, im a brother, im a painter. but theres not 5 calebs runnig around. it says he in me and i in you in John 14:16-31 tells about it.

he said in my name, Jesus.

father son and holyghost are titles

demons werent casted out in titles

    it was in Jesus name

  • @bigflip912 someone with the revelation that Jesus is ONE LORD!

  • I guess i understand what your saying in a way, but God has to reveal himself as new because God is so mulitfascited that there is no way we can see all the sides of god, and if we haven't see it all then it's new and fresh

  • im only 45 minutes away from his church, but i goto another UPC church :-)

  • my hero

  • Is Bro. Arnold not one the most incredible and revelatory preachers of our day?

  • Preaching like t his stirs my soul!

  • Its been about 1 month since Ive seen this one. If I remember, He kinda said something like we pentecostal don't really know God like we believe we do, and when you tie it with the verse where God says "depart from me I never knew you" well kinda made me feel like wow If I really, really, really, don't know God like he talks about in this sermon. Then Im going to hell.

I believe its gonna take all of eternity and more to really, really ect. ect........and so on KNOW God.

  • I find anything that inculcates discomfort deserves a second look, weighed against the Bible and the Spirit. Are we 'staunch', 'comforterable' or 'proud' in our walk, or is there a sense of humility and vulnerability (a good thing) that God can speak to. If you truly 'hear' this message, that's a good thing. It means God's still working on you/us. Remember, God did not send us a spirit of condemnation. God is just calling us higher....that's a REAL good thing!

  • I watch this sermon on DVD, and this was the first sermon that JA preached that either I had a hard time either understanding what he was really trying to say, or maybe it convicted me or maybe I just didn't aggree with alot he had to say. In 12 years of loving all his messages this was different. lol anyway God Bless.

Oh, now you wanna hear the whole thing huh, lol Most of the sermon I like just somethings i didn't.

  • Which parts didnt you agree with?

  • Jeff was not trying to say that you did not know "of" God. His point was that to "know" God requires intimacy. The word know also refers to personal knowledge not just general knowledge.

  • defaintely one of my favorite preachers! awesome man of God.

  • He's one of my favorites too.

  • How can you "grow out" of this "pentecostal thing"? Living for God is not just for the young, not just for the old -- it's for EVERYBODY! God will not hold you back from things you NEED to do - follow Him and HIS will and he will be faithful.

  • keeping you back from what?

  • Did your vision include fulfilling what you wanted, or consuming upon the desires of your flesh? Maybe you wanted a woman and he said "No" and it hurt your feelings? Maybe you prayed a prayer that you'd hoped he'd answer and he didn't answer it?

I read somewhere in the Bible that God answered the Children of Irael's request and sent leanness to their soul.

You might have what you want "now" out of life but I guarantee it isn't the will of God, and don't try to say it is.

  • then what is gods will chris777...

  • Sounds like a personal problem for you.

  • I Love brother Jeff Arnold i never get tired of his preachings! As hes said before Hes just a Slob doing his job...lol this was at Because of the Times 07 my parents went.

  • I LOVE Bro. Jeff Arnold!!!! I just think he get's a little too sarcastic sometimes...but I love 'em! He has SO many good things to say! :)

  • Rev. Jeff Arnold is a great man of God: He has blessed me many times.
