well, you have to remember, resuscitation isnt a traditional album. its more of a compilation of what was previously unreleased tracks and remixes. they were a lot more subtle back in those days with their message. what was once, "when i touch your skin, i feel like i have to wash my hands" is now, "oh, dear oh, dear oh, me, you make me disgusted to a painful degree!"
when they sit down and intend to make a full length album, its a lot more strung out and angry.
The voice is a great imitation of a singer from Detroit in the late '70's called Lene Lovich. This band was from Detroit too and probably liked her voice. It's almost a dead ringer.
this is really a treat. i know from experience that ADULT. is so fucking loud it's almost impossible to record any amateur footage of their live stuffs
