I have this monitor and it is excellent. Excellent definition, excellent colour depth. Good for both text applications and watching movies. The picture quality is much better than a CRT. Has a max resolution of 1680 x 1050 in landscape mode. A good feature is the matt screen, which is far easier on the eyes than a stupid shiny screen. I use mine with the digital DVI connector, which offers better quality than analogue.
