No, it's not. A .50 bmg is capable of going just under 20 KM before deterring off course too much. The longest range sniper kill was at 2,500 meters with a TAC .50, but that was because of the high altitude it was fired at, where there is much less atmosphere for the bullet to travel through.
Well.. Its standard regulation to wear snow camo in field excersises during winter in norway. It also keeps the water and the snow from getting ur uniform soaked ^^ And someone actually making a statement like that proved... well.. lets just say that dumb just got raised to a new level
I was in the army 00/01 and didn't see any signs of this new camo. All I could see wat my own camo standing upright by itself because the water it had soaked up had frozen stiff. And frankly the camo in this vid looks exactly like that old shit we used.

There are rulls in Norway yes.. the I don't know about the m2 but the m82 is not for use on "soft targets", it was bought to be used against armored vehicles and personnel behind cover where the other calibers didn't bite enough.

vi skyter med "multi purpose" ammunisjon som først smeller en gang når den avfyres, så eksploderer den når den treffer noe og skyter en ny ladning inn i det den treffer (i dette tilfellet fjellveggen, men er meget effektivt for å trenge gjennom pansrede kjøretøy). Trenger ikke sporlys her når man ser eksplosjonene ved treff..
hehe.. einaste damer burde vært brukt for i forsvaret var "felt madrass" ikke noen militær rang elle leder stillinger. den eneste stillingen ei dame i forsvaret skulle få va doggy elle misjonær stillingen!

This is about getting to know the weapon. You have to get used to the recoil, sound and techincal aspect of the weapon before you can start concentrating on hitting targets. It's not as easy as it seems

Are you talking about the General Electric GAU-series? Its a multi-barreled mini-gun, in use in various forms since Vietnam, HUGE difference between that and the M2 shown here. AND, the M2 has been in the US arsenal since WWI, show a little respect.
And its not on "all of our jets", there are over a dozen different variants, and the units mounted on some aircraft are cannon, not MG's, since they use 20 or 30mm. The blackhawks use 7.62mm

I've been down there and i can tell you that if ur sitting on a 12.7 and ur attacked by infantery.. Well.. just imagine how stupid you or anyone else would feel actually dismounting the HMG and trying to find ur rifle when every second passed means a comrade dead or a battle lost.. When the shit goes down the geneva convention doesnt mean anything.. Only reason why its illigal to use at infantry is because even though ur bullet just strafes by the air pressure from the bullet will rip off arms.

using .50 cal against infantry is not illegal according to any of the geneva conventions. Furthermore, .50 will not rip off limbs if it passes by, that is a complete urban myth

There are rulls in Norway yes.. the I don't know about the m2 but the m82 is not for use on "soft targets", it was bought to be used against armored vehicles and personnel behind cover where the other calibers didn't bite enough.

Uviten... Kvinner kan være rasshøl, akkurat som menn. I enkelte situasjoner er det best uten kvinner, i enkelte situasjoner skjerper det gutta og støtter oppunder moralen. Kan en kvinne med tre vinkler bære en sekk på 40 så kan tydligvis gutta det også. Ikke skjær alle under samme kam. Over til videoen: er det noen grunn til at dere ikke skyter med sporlys her? Og hva slags ammunisjon var det som eksploderte? Har ingen 12,7 erfaring.... ennå:)

vi skyter med "multi purpose" ammunisjon som først smeller en gang når den avfyres, så eksploderer den når den treffer noe og skyter en ny ladning inn i det den treffer (i dette tilfellet fjellveggen, men er meget effektivt for å trenge gjennom pansrede kjøretøy). Trenger ikke sporlys her når man ser eksplosjonene ved treff..

Tror kanskje du har hørt om F-16? Det er generelt få mennesker som NOENSINNE klarer å bli pilot, tror ikke du klarer å få baksetetur engang. Og militærtjeneste er uaktuelt fordi folk flest er LATE eller IDIOTER.

This is about getting to know the weapon. You have to get used to the recoil, sound and techincal aspect of the weapon before you can start concentrating on hitting targets. It's not as easy as it seems

damer skal ikke være i miltæret av det prinsipp av at hvis det blir krig, tror du en dame kan bære deg 2-3 kilometer til nærmeste felt hospital? en annen ting er at kvinner bryter raskere under pressede situasjoner, det har med psyken å gjøre, vi greier enklere å stenge ut følelser og konsentrere oss om det som er målet enn en kvinne..

Are you talking about the General Electric GAU-series? Its a multi-barreled mini-gun, in use in various forms since Vietnam, HUGE difference between that and the M2 shown here. AND, the M2 has been in the US arsenal since WWI, show a little respect.
And its not on "all of our jets", there are over a dozen different variants, and the units mounted on some aircraft are cannon, not MG's, since they use 20 or 30mm. The blackhawks use 7.62mm
