She went to the USA at 14 I think, she does have an accent. I speak authentic Cantonese since I was raised watching TVB series, so I can tell. It's not so much the pronunciation, but the tone.

That's because... in Heart of Greed and Moonlight Resonance... they had translators. They hired people that were Vietnamese to translate it. Since some of the people didn't know English or Vietnamese... some of them only knew Cantonese. That's why her voice sounded so different in both movies. Man... in Heart of Greed... when she cried... it made me cry a lot! :P And in Moonlight Resonance... she was so cute. xD She kept telling her brother that she wants to be a Mooncake Queen and make them.

OMG her Cantonese improved SO MUCH compared to when I last saw her in the MCI 2005. She's such a smart and pretty girl too. I just hope the rumors of her being a flirtatious seductress is not true because so far I like many things about her and her acting is not bad too for a newcomer.
