well, we all went there I think.. I always mention to folks interested in this hobby that there are 2 sides to this.. flying and adjusting/fixing. If you just want to fly, get an airplane. Crashes are usually around $30-$40, so not that bad. But I would suggest a training gear for sure.. Hopefully you haven't given up yet and are better at flying .. Good luck puma1824
Actually this wasn't me flying. I just posted for a friend (the one "flying") ACTUALLY he flies great now! FFF and inverted! ...and NEVER used training gear! I'll post those vids soon.
wait until it does that inverted..... you'll learn how to build a heli REALLY quick... it took me about 4 hrs to change out the mainshaft, gotta run to the lhs tomorrow and pick up more spindle shafts, blade holders. thrust bearings, and flybars.... oh the twisted web these things wind us up in
Well the blade is a great heli. I have one that i had to put in better servos but it is very stable in the hover. Go to helifreaks or run ryder and there are a lot of tips for you there. Keep working on it. Good start.
Coaxial rotor = Stable, Single rotor = Unstable... generally. Going from Coaxial rotors to single rotors is nearly as hard as learning coaxial for the first time! Hope you got it fixed ok!
I am the guy that crashed the 400. I had a lot of experience with the Blade CX2. I thought I was ready for the 400. I will buy a Simulator and get some training gear. Thanks for the advice.
OUCH that didn't sound good..A realflight G4 Simulator for $200 at Hobby shop or on line would be good investment. You can crash a million times and it costs nothing more.
Oh no!!!! Please try to hover next time with a training gear and only one or two feet high. After this than step by step higher and after a few weeks without training gear.
even dropped the control.. gota lot 2 learn lol :P

Gezzus! You ever fly before??? Try the blade 120sr first! Then move up to the 400 when you can throw the 120 about ;-)
