Comparing warring gangs to the Israel/Palestine conflict is simplistic. In the Israeli-Palestine conflict, one group(the Israelis) have oppressed and stolen the land of another group(the Palestinians) and continue to do so on a daily basis. What other choice do the Palestinians have except to fight back? I would encourage you to read "Palestine Inside Out: An Everyday Occupation" by Saree Makdisi for a better understanding of the situation. Music of the Mill by Lus Rodriguez is wonderful!
