Hi David, I found this video from the ULC website. Can you speak to unintended benefits/disadvantages of CL? Are you aware of prevalent abuse of the CL process that takes advantage of not being under the eye of the court? Thanks.

To Rondee1374: Thanks for your comment. Collaborative Law involves the use of lawyers whose focus is solely on resolving conflict. My experience has been that the CL process is far less expensive than litigation (and also less expensive that negotiation without CL), and therefore helps courts avoid the problem of docket congestion and unrepresented parties. - David Hoffman

What this will create is a burden on the court system with more people thinking they can do their own divorces Pro Se.
