Hmm, if it was up to me, I would have had Rose never marry. It just sounds messed up that Rose in the end is going to meet up with her true love, Jack, instead of her husband.
I never cry when I listen to music, never. But theres something with this song in particular, something different. I cry every single time I hear it, and I just can't stop. This is by far one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard. James Horner did a magnificent job capturing the emotions of what the film was trying to portray. Its unbelievable how lovely this score is.

You know, it's funny. I was working on a Poetry project and I needed some background music and this came on my Youtube playlist and I saw the picture and told myself, I wouldn't be sad or upset, or miss watching the movie all the time or go into another "Titanic Craze" where the music plays all the time. Four seconds later I was gone completely, and I was crying, and it's something in the music, in the movie in the story something great and wonderful and beautiful that's impossible to describe.
I want this song played at my funeral as my coffin is being placed in the oven. I am not joking - it's so moving that theaterlvable said it right: it conveys so many emotions.

Someone goes on a journey they weren't originally supposed to venture on, they meet up and fall in love with someone culturally different, and the relationship is frowned upon by others, so they have to try to make this seemingly impossible relationship work. .. the only main difference is that Titanic is on a boat, and somewhat fictional, whereas Avatar is on a different planet and completely fictional. That's it really.

Its one of my top fave movies of all time - but - the nite the titanic hit the iceberg - that collision COULD have been avoided if the crew had not put the ship in reverse but kept it going full speed ahead and turned "hard - a - starboard". Had that been done the titanic would of been able to complete its FIRST maiden voyage to america.

Hmm, if it was up to me, I would have had Rose never marry. It just sounds messed up that Rose in the end is going to meet up with her true love, Jack, instead of her husband.

I never cry when I listen to music, never. But theres something with this song in particular, something different. I cry every single time I hear it, and I just can't stop. This is by far one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard. James Horner did a magnificent job capturing the emotions of what the film was trying to portray. Its unbelievable how lovely this score is.

I heard this song and I remember my life 14 years ago, It is amazing the way that the music can take you to another time, make you feel a lot of things, with music is posible to make a trip to the past, enjoy about it and be happy thinking on it, I really liked the movie, but for me the music was the best ever !!! this song makes to feel a kind of things or feelings that you aren't going to forget in a thousand of years !!!

You know, it's funny. I was working on a Poetry project and I needed some background music and this came on my Youtube playlist and I saw the picture and told myself, I wouldn't be sad or upset, or miss watching the movie all the time or go into another "Titanic Craze" where the music plays all the time. Four seconds later I was gone completely, and I was crying, and it's something in the music, in the movie in the story something great and wonderful and beautiful that's impossible to describe.

It doesn't matter how you interpret this song. Everyone does in a different way. Just appreciate the amazing music. Let yourself feel the different emotions. Compare it to something in your life. It's truly beautiful then.

@finkmare - they really aren't that different if you think about it. Someone goes on a journey they weren't originally supposed to venture on, they meet up and fall in love with someone culturally different, and the relationship is frowned upon by others, so they have to try to make this seemingly impossible relationship work. .. the only main difference is that Titanic is on a boat, and somewhat fictional, whereas Avatar is on a different planet and completely fictional. That's it really.

@MrDevilsbrood1012 No mate. There is a Jack Dawson who died on the Titanic but it is completely unrelated. The story developed for the Motion Picture 'Titanic' is completely fiction. Sorry to disappoint you. I too wish they had been real. But perhaps considering the way poor Mr Dawson dies, I would be glad it was fiction. Be a shame to add another death to the already huge number of dead. God rest them all.

@MrDevilsbrood1012 yes there was a joseph dawson, which was in third class, but james cameron didnt know about him entirely as he was making the movie, jack dawson is a fictional character, cause james put two young people to have a romance, so he didnt know about joseph until later on

I love Titanic! Its one of my top fave movies of all time - but - the nite the titanic hit the iceberg - that collision COULD have been avoided if the crew had not put the ship in reverse but kept it going full speed ahead and turned "hard - a - starboard". Had that been done the titanic would of been able to complete its FIRST maiden voyage to america.

Makes me get tearfull :) i spend alot of time at sea on ships and the feeling you get being at sea is amazing. hearing the sound of the wake at the back of the ship, but it also makes you think of how frightening the oceon really is and all those souls lost at sea from the titanic

I've only seen titanic twice, first time at a sleepover with 4 of my other friends, we watched it and i teared up, but didn't cry. second time at my own home alone, and a was sobbing when jack died, literally sobbing. how lame. jack is fictional and i still cried

This song is so sad, it reminds me of all those who died on that tragic night, yet its beautiful, and reminds me of love. Its like a mourning of all who passed but also a celebration of the love jack and rose found, Its haunting and gorgeous and i cant stop listening<3

Beautiful. The Uilleann Pipes always get me to tears. It's so heartbreaking to think that this actually happened. It was tragic enough to see it, being in it must have made you felt like you would die, which I'm sure everybody felt like. God Bless Jack (Joseph) Dawson, who actually was a real passenger of the Titanic. God Bless All People Who Died.
