Thanks for sharing. I have found that a raw vegan diet helps tremendously with diabetes. As I understand, the reason that insulin resistance occurs is because the liver is unable to breakdown insulin (protein) once it is made. Eating less meat allows the liver the capacity to breakdown insulin allowing resistance to go down. Meat is a double problem as it stimulates the most insulin production (not carbs). Look for Insulin Index and see what I mean. Less insulin= Less insulin resistance.
Funny thing, you don't cite any of your sources. As for your "cure" for diabetes, you're leaving out the fact that diabetes is a chronic disease. Once you get it, you have it for life. You can control it through diet, exercise and medication. But as for "the cure" you're way off the mark.
For those who are watching this video, my best advice is see your doctor and get properly educated on diabetes.
@reallyitsme1980 I'm not the one making the claim that diabetes can be cured. Here's my source from The Mayo Clinic.
Type 2 diabetes
Definition
There's no cure for type 2 diabetes, but you can manage — or even prevent — the condition. Start by eating well, exercising and maintaining a healthy weight. If diet and exercise aren't enough to control your type 2 diabetes, you may need diabetes medications or insulin therapy to manage your blood sugar.
I found if you treat the water by letting it set for twenty four hours with a tent over it if you live in the city and are not on a well, so the added chemicals evaporate. Then brew your own beer and drink just four ounces four times a day it will lower your blood sugar. For me it work so well I don't need any drugs from the pharmacy any more. Be sure to speak to your doctor first about it and your pharmacist. This worked for me but I still monitor my blood sugar and watch my diet. Honey logger
My doc diagnosed me with type 2 diabetes, but yet my chiropractor says I have adrenal exhaustion that messes with my blood sugar. So the question is...which one do I truly have?
@kalkeikuu YOU MAY, VERY WELL MIGHT, HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT. I WOULD GET ALL MY ENDOCRINE LEVELS CHECKED, INCLUDING , BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TESTOSTERNE, FREE AND TOTAL, CORTISOL. THERES SEVERAL DIFFERENT POTENTIAL CAUSES OF DIABETES. FIND THE CAUSE!!!!
This guy has no clue about diabetes. The fact is that India has the highest diabetes rate. The entire culture in India is vegetarian. The Vietnamese people have the second highest rate of diabetes in the world. This is because they eat a largely vegetarian diet but also meat which is cooked with sugar. Cooking meats with sugar has a double whammy affect. So this Guy who is telling you that you have to stop the meats to cure you diabetes, is out of his mind.
populations that practice witchcraft shamanism have lower diabetes rates... it does not necessarily follow that just because of this, then that is so. beware of logical fallacies
I'm been vegetarian for 5 years now, and have no problem getting b12. It's a common misconception. I also have no problem getting protein, and I eat a lot and enjoy food :) I'm as healthy as a horse!
Cold water fish is loaded with mercury, and will attack your system rapidly, making the diabetes much much worse. Potatoes? lol give me a break. Potatoes like Rice (simple carbs) will convert in plain sugar. I bet your body cells and pancreas would love that idea.
Minorities have a higher rate of diabetes because carbohydrates are cheap. Why would a diabetic want to eat ANY carbohydrates? They can't use them for energy.
well I know there is no cure for diabetes, but changin your lifestyle and exercising more would give you a perfectly normal life...aslong as you stay healthy if you stop exercising and eating healthy the diabetes ghost will just come back. Greetings to all fellow diabetics, only we understand our problem.
it's much harder to prove that something doesn't exist, something can't be cured than the opposite.
what you need is to poke ur head outside the box called mainstream and just listen, and discover the tons of ppl that have been cured.
i personally know ppl who have been cured of cancer, both are metabolic diseases. that occurs from failure and internal imbalance, not a pathogen. both are caused my lack of nutrition on top of piosons.
do u know the significance of a counterexample in logic?
That's only true for the mainstream FDA approved doctors and medical system... not diabetes in general,
so stop saying it loud and proclaiming b/c it's flat out not true. i know a doctor personally that cured diabetes multiple times. if u want to bury ur head in the sand then there's no mindcontrol police, but u should realize the ridiculousness of saying "THerE's no cure, there's no cure". evidence overturns theory, not ViceVe
if it doesnt, as of right now, then what you want to seek is a doctor of a different school of thought, b/c right now it there are doctors that cure. it's not a matter of time, it's a matter of school of thought.
First of all, insulin reistance is NOT the same thing as Type 2 Diabetes. IR can LEAD to Type 2 diabetes, but the terms should be used interchangably.
You look at poor indians that have to work there asses off to eat and wonder why they don't get diabetes when they eat potatoes it's because they work there ass off and don't eat like pigs.
I have also noticed that high glycemic foods like carrot juice or watermelon are actually helpful for my condition, so I wouldn't be surprised about the potato thing.
Also, just like the potato, coffee is often said to be bad for diabetes. It is bitter, so I would figure there is some indication that it should be good. If finding surprising that (unprocessed) cocoa is good for diabetes and all of a sudden coffee is not.

to the contrary the reason veggies have less diabetes is because they eat LESS food.
veggies cannot exist without b12 where do they get it from?

"there is no cure, if there was, ten no one would have it"
you will see just how wrong that kind of thinking is, when u study the banned cure for cancer.
you will see how illogical and fallacious it is by just considering "is it possible to hold back the cure, or ban the cure?"

i'm just guessing, but maybe the caffine is more significant than the bitterness. caffine is an acidifier.
and of course theres the stimulation, which might have relation to the pancreas and chemical controls.
