Awesome video, loved it. But i still find it funny how, there is all that really dramatic music in the background while the daleks essentially are 'going home'. Thats not a critisism, i can't be critical of anything this genius and badass! It is merely an observation. When i come home from work next, i'll be sure to have this orchestra music play in the background! It'll be super!

@wizardzombie97 The Daleks power supply was destroyed by the Thals when The Doctor and Ian got the Thals to rebel, the Daleks died without food water, and they were no longer defended from radiation because there systems were shut down.

@wizardzombie97 They 'died' from a lack of radiation, the original Daleks needed it like we need air. The Time War Dalek likely planned to use its Time Travel Radiation to revive them (like Rose did by accident in 'Dalek')...But this shows it can work.

Whoa, dude (or dudette)..I got chills when the Time War era Dalek encountered the deactivated remnants of the Classic Daleks...The mood, the music...So chilling it gave me goosebumps..I waited to the very end..Hoping they would reactivate them..I was a bit disappointed that they didn't talk face to face..But the ending did not disappoint. =D

I take it the time radiation from the TWE Dalek reactivated the Classic Dalek, as they survived on radiation, as the one from 'Dalek' was healed by Rose's.

Contact them, send it to them and if they like it (Which they will) offer to animate a few of the missing episodes if they pay you a reasonable amount. You my friend have the potential to become a Doctor Who legend. Don't stop here. I've honestly never seen such a good animation.

It makes me sad that the BBC could have used some of your brilliant ideas instead of the utter shit churned out over the past few years.

Brilliant premise for a storyline..... re-using and revisiting older sets and having new series Dalek meet old.

At the end of the day DR WHO is telling a story and even though we now have new Daleks and new Cybermen, in a story about time travel the older versions will still be out there somewhere or you should come up against them

this is wonderful work for two reasons. 1 its a story idea i wanted to see for years: classic and new Daleks. even the classic sets, as if time stopped. but its a sleeping giant! 2 its made in Blender? just to show how much this FREE animation tool can do. im trying to figure out Blender myself, i have a book. but if you have any tips ill appreciate them :)

@360bloodshreder99 They return to Skaro at an earlier point in it's history through time travel. I wondered about it at first but thanks to everyone for pointing that out, that makes sense. I don't think a Dalek would say EXTERMINATE before blowing away a door, though.

The Daleks of 2005 return to Skaro and meet the dormant Daleks of 1963, just after they were defeated by the first Doctor Who (William Hartnell), his companions and the Thals. Excellent stuff, it even has the incidental musice from 1963. Many thanks for posting.

That was seriously brilliant. There is a lot of 3D Dalek animation on Youtube but nothing as clever as this. Post time war Dalek visiting the original Skaro depicted really accurately too just like the original William Hartnell story. Wow I really want to know what's going to happen next. Really excellent.

im sorry, but the orignal daleks were way more creepy and scery compered to the new ones, i think it was also the the soundtrack and sound effects (the corridor sounds for example) that make them creepyer, but seeing the new series ( i say new series now thev been replaced with realy tall hunch backs) makes them so much more scery to watch sooo congrats you made the new series daleks scery as they should be :D lol

@HoraceAndTheSpider Yes, very definitely! I rendered the 3D Daleks from the front then used the image on a Dalek-shaped 3D plane to create a flat Dalek which I re-rendered as part of the video.

That was brilliant. First was the obvious daleks, familiar to the new series and then, cinematic quality builds, eerie music begins to play giving me an inkling of the early series, and then, omg, there it is, the final resting place of the fight that took place all the way back to the first doctor's place. You even got all the dalek death spots right! The control room everything. Then there is that remarkable contrast to the first dalek and the nearmost recent. Great suspense, 5/5

@Stormtrooper34 Time War Daleks would revive their ancestors, Classic Daleks are big on survival, and would allow a superior strain of Daleks to revive them and upgrade them. These TW Daleks need to boost their forces, and likely lack the means to replicate like the Progenitor/Paradigm Daleks did. The Time War has forced them to take this action, you can tell by their actions being slow and restrained, suggesting they don't want to do this, but have no choice.

Fantastic, I just don't like the way it messes with canon so much, the dalek's of skaro and their deaths in 'The Daleks' was at the very end of everything in doctor who in terms of times, so they were the last, after the time war and everything :)
