this show was really charming. while it didn't have great animation or drawings, it made up for that in heart and soul. I remember watching this at about 10:00 or whenever Adult Swim first aired back when it started, when I was about 10 or 11, and i thought, "Good LORD! What an AWESOME show!" I'd never seen anything like it...Adult Swim was this cool thing i would always look forward to every night...and Anime Saturdays and Sundays? Good God, that was amazing too.....what the hell happened

This show makes up my entire middle childhood (Ages 6-12)! My parents thought I was sleeping. Nope. I was staying up, blowing past King of the Hill, American Dad, Family Guy, Aqua Teen (another adored show), Bleach, Cowboy Bebop (yet another show I love), and other anime just to see Home Movies. Those prepubescent years of solitude and daytime boredom were worth it.

I love this show. Everytime I cant sleep at like 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning and I try to go to bed and I hear the opening theme of this show, Im like, "Holy crap, its Home Movies!" and I stay up to watch it.

The music in this show made it all the better (as if it wasn't the best cartoon in existance already :p). Especially the first couple of seconds of this song, it reminds me I'm watching the best show ever, with great jiggles. I wish home movies never ended, one of adult swims greatest shows. :)

I love the way that the song is layered, and the chords of the piano just jump in. The guitar also makes this funny sound that is similar to a style of Indian music which I adore. This song is brilliant! If only it was longer...

this show was really good the only thing wrong with it was the poor quality of the drawings but they actually found a way to make it SO BAD that its good again XD. Great show... wish there were more episodes.

ps: what instrument did they use for this song 0_o its weird, but i like it.

They should have ended it when Brendon, Jason, and Melissa enter in a Film Festival, the winner gets to make a Big-Screen movie, They win, and the movie turns out to be a flop, and they are back to making Home Movies.
