well the terrain they're going on is very rough and tight corners all over. sure you can go 40kmph down a trail which is quite wide and smooth but its does get harder when there's massive jumps rocks and trees in the way. They can go faster tho on the straighter field parts.

yeah you could do a lot of off road. try getting into cross country or just mtbing in general. i live in CO so i have no problem finding trails. you should just look up mtbing in your area its a good place to start. good luck :)
