  • For the malunggay leaves - how would you judge how much a bundle is in terms of some objective measure (like cups)? I don't think I can get fresh ones here, but I understand I can get them frozen. I have some dried mung beans and I want to try this recipe.

  • Mungo makes me utot all day long... Good taste but has negative utot side too.

  • mamasitas ginisa mix has a damn MSG. if not i still dont trust that stuff...

god damn people... we tryina learn how to cook but we do not know how to sauté? get some book! or ask your mom how to.

  • Ahhhh. My mom just made this today. xD Aha.. So did my lola.

  • mas masarap lagyan ng lechon..

  • parang wala kc malunggay d2 s amin... try ko nga kung mkahanap s fil stores..grrrrr.... sarap2 tlga...weeeeeeh!

  • pwede nyo rin i-try ang fried tofu instead of meat.. also, mas masarap kung may sliced ginger which is sauteed next to either garlic or onion..for those who find it hard to get ampalaya leaves, or dahon ng sili, or kung ano pa man, spinach leaves will do.. ang sarap-sarap! gustung-gusto ng lahat ng lahi everytime na dadalhin ko dito sa potluck namin sa NC.

  • where would I get the ginisa mix? and where would I get the munggo?

  • have you ever heard of the place called "MARKET?"

    lol :))

  • in any asian store..or you can buy it at any online filipino store..

  • hey if you cant find the asian store in your country maybe you can order it direcly here in the philippines..

  • it looks like a lazy woman´s recipe! why would you use a ginisa mix full of glutamite and preservatives if you could use normal spices? salt and pepper would taste good with it and using garlic and onion will add good taste...

  • hhmmm...

    y dnt u try this..

pakuluan un monggo gang s mgsag xa..

den kumuha ng kawali igisa ang bawang at sibuyas..kamatis at sahog(e.g.pork)

    timplahan ng patis..

hayaan mafry ng konti..and den lagay n un lumambot n monngo

    hayaang kumulo..

hayyy...pgkasrap nun...instead on malunngay or dahon ng sili..mas d best and usbong ng samplok...

biliv me u will be lyk it...

  • wow that's great!will try that!thanks po for posting!

  • you can use smoked fish(tinapa) instead of pork to make it more "pinoy-style" plus you can substitute bagoong alamang instead of patis to make it more authentic pinoy meal. =) And also you can use dahon ng ampalaya for this dish. It adds more flavor than malunggay/dahong sili.

  • ok lang yun.thanks for the post!

  • you know how to make this really really good? you can add sotanghon...

  • wow, thats a great tip for me!thanks for the post!

  • i know how to cook that, i put plenty of water,

  • opo,we made a budget recipe na masarap naman kahit konti lang ang sahog pero u can add more if like it depends on your budget.thanks for posting!

  • kailangan po ba eboil yong mungo at pwede haloan ng hipon ? or karne?

  • yes, kailangan talaga i-boil ang munggo ng maluto maigi at lumambot ito.if u have the budget yes,u can add hipon or karne.thanks for your post!Happy cooking!

  • waaaaaaaaa if you have the budget pa .heeehehe .good job .

  • one of the reason we made this video is to show that this videos is not only easy but budget recipes too.But if you want it a little speacial..you an add more ingredients to it.Thanks!
