OMGosh !!! - "kitchen bedroom" - Yikes !...waaay too much stuff.

* BEDROOM: narrow bunk beds w/a loft bed. Can use bottom space of loft for small drawers or storage.

*KITCHEN: 1 pot, 1 pan, 3 plates, 3 forks, 3 knives, 3 spoons, 3 coffe mugs, 3 medium size drinking glasses; small toaster & a 4-cup coffee maker or kettle. Less dishes to wash & more space for 3 men.

*LIVING ROOM: 3 comfortable chairs (not recyliners) & 3 TV trays (trays fold). NO sofas, No coffee tables & No small tables.

Also, any advice on where to live, how to find a cheap but decent apartment, etc. would be much appreciated!

Next time you see a broken dish washer take the rack out and place it on the counter with a towel under it you will never have dirty dishes again becasue you will wash as you use them. Ever since I got mine the dishes are done. I tried to find one in the store but they didnt sell them that big so I scrounged one form a washer someone tossed got it for free scrubbed it in bleach &soap.

I'm a fan of small spaces for some reason and think your place has a a lot to offer. Living in small quarters is the norm in the big apple anyways.
