I'm fascinated by this, and really want to try making one myself. You said something about the temperature in the oven being 110 degrees? Was that the actual oven interior/cooking temp? Is that high enough to keep the food from spoiling during the long cooking time? The roast really does look delicious. It looks like it even browned! (Or did you do that ahead of time?)
Yes, your cast iron pan is great! I want one for my solar oven too but I'm having a hard time finding one.
