  • @NutNFancy

Is 4:00 the snow field on Mt. Timponogous?

  • Our dog looked a lot like Allie. We had to choose between new flooring for the first floor of our house or ACL surgery. We picked the surgery. The surgery was a success! Unfortunately he died at age 8 of Dog Cancer.

  • i commented in your older video, but my dog tore his second acl after the first one.. it sucked at the time but it must really have been bothering him cause hes acting like hes 2 again (hes 9)

  • @HOLYHECKITSPAUL I am so glad your dog is better. Thanks for letting us know that things worked out so well (I saw your earlier comment about The Five Thousand Dollar Dog). Nutn is being really really quiet about Allie...which lets me know that he is very worried. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • The tone of your voice during this post op call speaks volumes to me at least about what is going through your mind, and your obvious dismay about the style of repair / or the possible long term of this surgery.

I truly feel for you guys bro.

    OCTOS...................out.

  • @octos2000 You called it and you are exactly right. He's worried. I can see improvement, but Nutn is so worried. Thanks for commenting, Octos...great to see you. -- Veri

  • Hope Allie gets up to speed quickly !

  • You know we have came to love Allie through the videos. You get to touch, feed and care for her, but girlfriend, dog, mountain dog, is part of the viewing family too. We would like up dates during the recovery period too. We know you and your family will give her the best care. Give Allie a hug and a special treat for me, I'm hoping for the very best.

  • we Love u Allie. she's a dream dog

  • awsome dog

  • Man a his dog, i love my dog tell her i lover her and goodnight everynight, something about havin mans best freind at your side. i ruptured my acl and i was down and couldn't walk for a year :(

  • Man a his dog, i love my dog tell her i lover her and goodnight everynight, something about havin mans best freind at your side.

  • Good job getting that animal in for treatment prior to a full tear. The future is pretty much 100% recovery for her now. I know she wants to get back out there, and she will for sure, after a couple months of healing and slowly working back up her activity level. Good job and good luck! You can tell a lot about someone by the way they treat their animal family members!

  • @koop1969 well you gotta realize nutnfancy really understands the inner workings of things. just look at his videos. he knows how to take care of himself and his gear. his dog definitely is no exception. it looks like he will have a few more good years of hiking with her regardless.

  • man nice to hear that all went well!

  • man nice to here it all went well!

  • @ThomasAchord agrred, and now it's up to 12.5 thousand!

  • Glad to hear she is doing well, Nutnfamily.

  • Glad to hear she'll be OK! Even with the limitations she has, for the next three months, it's not as bad a puting an active dog through heartworm treatment. At least Alee can still get out and go for walks with you.

  • This is AWESOME, my dog, ALLIE has cancer and i just happened to see this the day weve been decieding against surgery. your allie looks so happy i hope she runs well post healing.

  • I hope TNP's 4 legged crew member is doing ok and she recovers well. I know it will be a looong three months.

  • I wonder if anyone makes nomex soft braces for dogs...Hmmmm.....

  • Allie is lucky to have such a caring family!

  • Excellent to hear she's gonna be alright!

  • It may be a good idea to ditch the dog backpack.

  • Thanks for the update Nutn. Wishing Allie all the very best for a complete recovery.

  • She is such a good dog,...we all are hoping for the best for her. :-))

  • yo i hope your dog gets better she is so sweet and cool.

  • I think Allie is more popular than nutn

  • hope she up and chasing yall in the mountains and desert.... love yall and love ur reviews

  • "Will she be as good or better than before?"

"She will be better than most."

"But more than before the injury?"

    "Better than most."

    ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!

  • Get well Soon Allie :)

  • Im glad she's gonna get back on her feet soon...this vid brings back memories of my dog...lost her after 16 yrs..havent been able to get another one....maybe Ill get a donkey or something that will last longer..

  • @heyxilong The tragic part about our relationships with dogs is that even the best case scenario ends sadly. We just have to deal with it the best we can, but I certainly understand what you're talking about. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy True, no matter what-dogs die that's what makes our live with them so precious. I don't think ANYONE ever forgets the dogs in their lives. From their first to theri last...Best wishes for Allie-I owned a black lab, Butkis, when I was young-great loyal friends-thanks for the update.

  • @nutnfancy Nutn's the first other person I've heard articulate this in relation to making you possibly not ready for another dog. And to be honest what both of you are talking about makes me so sad some times I cant even bare it. Easier to just not think about it. The doggies are worth it in the end.

  • Awwwh Allie. :[

  • Poor Allie..... glad she got the treatment that she needed.

I hope you had pet insurance Nutn lol.

  • Allie <3

  • Best wishes to you and your family Nutn for a full recovery for Allie.

  • Get well soon Allie the Mountain Dog!

  • Get well soon allie!!!

  • thinking of allie from canada and prayen for a quick recovery

  • Glad to hear she's doing well, keep up the great work.

  • ? are you from the USA ?

  • @FlapFingerboard have you seen his other videos?

  • It is good to know that there are people out there that concider their pets as much of a part of the family as the people in it.

  • All the TNP'ers love her. Get well soon dogness!!

  • lets all hope for a speedy recovery for allie :)

  • I would like to see an EDC of Allie :)

  • Does the Dr know you were recording him? Just asking

  • From all your LEO TNPer's in NJ get well soon girlfriend!

  • It's amazing how close we become to our 4-legged friends.

Prayers for complete healing for Dogness!

  • I hope she fully recovers, she is such a good mountain dog

  • Dogs are a member of the family.

    Allie get well soon.

  • You go girl!

  • A very stressful journey with Allie, very glad it turned out as well as it did Nutn

  • my best blessings...I support Allie, hope all goes well.

  • I brought my dog home through Operation Baghdad Pups. She was the Teams Gaurd Force K9, We had her for 2 rotations and i couldnt leave her the last time. I love her to death she is chilln watching TV. You can see a pic of her on my page.

  • Glad she is turning out ok. A dog is a powerful companion and no other animal can really ever match that. I wish my golden retriever could have fought cancer a little longer so she could come duck hunting one more season.

  • Glad to hear that Allie is gonna be ok. Best wishes!

  • So she will be out until july? Hmmm, well at least she will recover. Not all people notice when somthing is wrong with there dog. I think she is just as lucky to have you as an owner, as you are to have her as a dog. And dogs are not dumb. She knows she's got good gardians to. It's trust and love. Not'n funny about that.

  • I understand there are trolls who bash every single video nutn puts out. But seriously? Did they already roll in and dislike the Allie surgery video updates? These people are sick in the head. I feel like a part of the TNP family and I'm glad to see these updates on Allie. Best wishes for her recovery!

  • @csrob6620 Fully agreed.

  • thinking of Allie from Canada, good luck with the 3 months whens shes taking it easy!

  • Nice to hear all is well.

  • wish you and your hairy friend the very best nutnfancy and fam =)

  • God Bless the Beautiful Doggie Allie!!

  • @ThomasAchord. Lol!! I know right!

  • Get well soon Allie! I hope to see you adventuring in a couple of months. All my best to Allie and nutnfancy.

  • Get well Alie! <3

  • poor pup.... hope she is doing well.

  • Allie is on a fethnol patch, holy man thats a serious narcotic I hope her rehab goes well and is back at it in no time I hope she gains out of what you have invested in, i cant imagine havn't had to go through this as an adult myself but sure was pricey take care and love your channel

  • Allie TMD is a trooper and a fighter. Happy to hear she is doing well. GOOD LUCK!

  • labs are the best! shes such a cutie

  • if people i run into in life dont like or own pets i can never truly trust them.in my life i have had dog cats snakes rabbits hamsters ducks a redtail hawk and a racoon.animals help us and to be better humans.

  • Thinking of Allie. All the best.

  • Happy all is going to be well with Allie Girl. As always your video editing is superb and gets better with every video!

  • Kayla {my dog) is giving Allie doggy prayers!

  • Thanks for the update on Allie, Nut'n...she's a beautiful dog, and I love wacthing the vids with your interactions with her...I'd love to have a dog, but I live alone and travel too much, so I "have" a dog vicariously through you...Thanks again; the prognosis for her sounded pretty good...who says prayer doesn't work?

  • I know this sounds stupid cause you are loyal to her.Why not get a black lab puppy,or a younger rescue dog as a buddy for her?She will have company when your not@home.I know you'd feel like you are betraying your girl but it might be a positive benifit having a younger lab around her.Alternate taking them out on your hiking trips. My best friend,Morris,my buddy died in my arms in my front yard last August.I haven't even picked up the ashes I'm so lost without him.18 years old.I truly miss him.

  • @demmylowther Believe me, we have kicked the idea around. I'm all for it. -- Veri

  • Glad your dog is doing better.

  • love from me and lola from uk,get well soon

  • Thank you for the updates! Three months of boring non-mountain Allie time but back to it all soon hopefully.

  • Whether they are swimming through the marshes down here in South Louisiana or climbing mountains under the Western skies. Labs rule. We’re all pulling for a quick recovery, Nutn. Good luck with the efforts to keep Allie calm for a few months.

  • Good to hear Allie is ok. Cant wait to see hear back in TNP

  • nutn, i want to train my dog to go w/me on my packing trips, he´s still a pup but he goes completly nuts when ever i take him out, any advice? he`s a beagle

  • Good to hear buddy! Glad the girl is doing well!

  • Great footage of loyal hiking companion in this update. Glad to hear it wasn't a full tear.

  • 3:48, weeeeee, there she goes slidin´ ! hope that allie will be the same after 3 months without any runnin´ at all!

  • why is there a makeup commercial before the video?

  • i wish you and allie the best of luck with her recovery

  • Waffleeater911911 and i care? I have a strong love for animals both in nature and in the urban world. And technically humans are animals but we dont look at it that way

  • wholy shit, they gave the dog a fentanyl patch. Thats crazy!

  • @TechnicaIlyInsane Crazy as in awesome! The only downside I can think of is humans trying to get their hands on it for a high... -- Veri

  • Sorry to hear about Allie; I hope she gets better soon.

  • 7 people accidentally hit thumbs down when going to vote for their favorite video of the week

  • Glad to see she is doing better. Our animals are our best friends sometimes, and it is clear Allie is a large part of the TNP family!

  • Thinking of Allie from Australia

  • my dog tore her meniscus from jumping in the air and catching low flying birds. She was black lab and catahoola (sp) and eventually tore it again. one time i was giving her a dog treat and she bit me in the face. the next day we took her to the vet to have her put to sleep. the doctor said that she was in a lot of pain and that she was probably biting because of the frustration with the pain. me and her were very close and it killed me inside to have to say goodbye to her. best wishes for allie!

  • Dogs are good people. The best, in fact.

  • Thanks for the updates bro... they're MUCH appreciated!

  • haha

  • What a great vet to give such personal, down to earth explanations. It sounds like you have your work cut out for you regarding keeping Allie from running or jumping, I know from having a dog it is hard to change habits. Glad to hear the news, and I can't get over how similar the post-op treatment is comparing to a human.

  • It is so hard seeing our loved ones getting older and/or being injured. she always reminds me so much of my first black lab, Prince. He went thru similar issue's and did really well for a very long time. The hardest thing I ever did was have to start leaving him behind ( he knew what and where I was doing), yelped and whined every time. Prayers and good doggness wishes!!

  • I support Allie the mountain dog from France, good luck, i love it :-)

  • Take good care of her......I'm sure she's just like one of your kids, .just like my dog is to me.

  • Heal fast Allie!!

  • Get well soon Allie.

  • Rest up & get better Allie! Looking forward to seeing more vids of you climbing, running, and/or pooping your way through the mountains in the near future. Thanks for the update, Nutn. All the best to Allie and her people.

  • This is a perfect example of why you need to money held back for "emergency's". You never know when a pet is going to have problems or a vehicle is going to break down. Get well soon Allie! Thanks nutn for sharing.

  • Oh man, 3 months for the gal is going to be tough. It's hard when she's so active going to leash. Hard on you guys to. Good luck with the recovery.

  • Sounds like good news overall...hoping for a speedy recovery!

  • Get well soon Allie! I'm hoping for the best here in Finland!

  • poor alie get well soon

  • cute doggy

  • sounds expensive. good luck Allie.

  • Oh, dog. Get better!

  • Sounds like she'll be fine. Godspeed to Allie and the Nutnfamily.

  • Hope youre doin well Allie! Stay off that bum wheel for a lil bit and Im sure we'll be seing you in some awesome summer hiking vides in the near future. From the sound of it Nutn', the surgery went very well and the prognosis is excellent. I hope this took some strain off of you and the fam as much as it did Allie's knee! Hope to see you guys in some vids as soon as shes 100%!

  • She'll be fine. All that love will repair any damage :)

  • 700 dollars to fix mans best friend bargain hopes she gets well soon .

  • Love you Allie!!!!! Get better soon!

  • Allie! Allie! Allie! Just the best wishes to Allie and you Nutnfancy! We cheer for her here in Switzerland!

  • hope Allie recovers fully and is able to go out adventuring with you again Nutn.

  • Whats with the dislikes ? this is great news !

  • Our best friend (and number one dog) did his CL and about a year after surgery you'd never know. Sounds like the op went well, which is good news. I'm sure Allie will get lots of love and care and make a great recovery.

  • @AussieMark909 Its great to hear comments like this! -- Veri

  • good allie is good :) hope she gets better soon and can join you back up the mountings and keep doing great films

  • I think it's clear that the people who clicked "dislike" can't see properly and therefore did it completely by mistake. Anyway, get well soon Allie!

  • Take care Allie:)

  • When my german shephard was 1year old we found tumor at his chest. It was big like mans fist.Vet said:"We got cut this shit off right now! Im all alone here today so YOU got to be my assistant at this operation.."We took my dog under an anaesthetic, then opened. We have been cuttin and clenching and cleaning for about an hour. Then stitched Heban's chest after it was done.Blood was just EVERYWHERE! He is 6 years old now and in 100% condition:) Man! What an adventure! Btw Im an architect;)

  • @MrKansai1 My lord!!! That is an amazing story!! God bless you and Heban too...I'm glad the surgery was a success. -- Veri

  • @MrKansai1 Thanks Veri:) I could not have find a better pet-friend than Heban. After that day I got to take a leave at work(week) so I could watch over him.He tried to take off bandage all the time and to scratch his stitches. Yes, Im so happy to have Heban right now here:)

  • @MrKansai1 I had a solid black shepard years ago (named Doctor) and she was an amazing friend. They make GREAT partners. I am so happy Heban is doing well and you still have him. I think he is lucky to have YOU too...I don't know if I could have done what you did during that surgery. I have been thru surgery with several of my animals (one of my vets is "on wheels" and comes to the house/yard and I get to see whatever he does), but always look away at the worst of it.. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy Well it worked mostly because my Vet is a great guy-wise and amazingly skilled at this job. This was 3rd of Heban's disease. 1st one was Parvovirus (cryed when realised that) when he was just a fluffy black ball- we took him from death's throat. 2nd was awful parasites. Seeing Heban today, on how great shape he is, how joyful and how healthy, you wouldnt belive he past all this.I think Allie will be(look) about the same. Give her some time and she will:)

  • I'd like to perform my own "surgery" on anyone who dislikes this video. Allie's lucky to have such a careing family. Get well soon Dogness.

  • She lives an amazing lifestyle, 3 months of boredom, That sucks!

  • get well allie.

  • @amessad yeah how could you dislike what nutnfancy did here, I think it's unreal, the amount of people that don't understand dogs baffles me. Great vid makes me guilty I don't hike with my lab

  • Godspeed Allie! I went through my own ACL replacement about two years back, you'll bounce back quick!

  • If any dog can recover well from something like this, it will be Allie. I say that because of all the love and affection she receives!

  • Sometimes i just do not understand the ''dislike'' button .... not trying to be philosophical but it shows enough about our society .....

  • @amessad Nutn has haters...its just a YouTube thing and we accept it and move on. Don't let it bother you. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy its really stupid that you have haters at all. but it speaks volumes of the intelligence and manners of people today. and its exactly the main reason why i pack heat. people are ignorant , foolish and full of myopia which is a new word i actually learned from your videos. but you are very neutral and fair ( even though you hold Glock in the limelight , but in every right Glocks are incredible guns)

  • so a repair involves removing ligament? that really sucks, kind of seems counter-intuitive. I wish they had told him about the specifics beforehand.

  • aw man makes me think of my dog that i just put down... some people just can't understand the bond between a man and his dog

  • @RizeUpAgainstIt I am so sorry about your dog. -- Veri

  • @RizeUpAgainstIt friggen rights my relationship with my dog is similar to my son, I couldn't imagine how I would handle it if either ever past, with dogs they dont outlive us so i feel your pain sorry to hear about your loss

  • @RizeUpAgainstIt i held mine in my arms as he died got hit by a car

  • Nutn , I have been a breeder of American Bulldogs for some years . I too take my boy out every place I venture . Dog backpack included . He is now 7 1/2 and is 85 lbs . I have avoided ACL issues by NEVER letting him run on unstable footing like sand or gravel . With ABs having 75 % of their weight in front . That can add unwanted stress on a dogs joints and tendons . A gentle leader muzzle collar will do wonders in keeping her from running while out doors and on a leash until her recovery ends

  • Great news. I'm glad she is doing well.

  • 333likes, 3 dislikes...

    WINNING.

  • Great to hear that the surgery went well! You must feel so relieved.

My own pet has had a rather surprising turnaround lately, since I was pretty sure that she was going to pass in January. In fact, I was told about a year ago that she was dying and didn't have much time left. But little Chino is a fighter if I have ever met one, and has overcome more than I thought possible.

What can I say man, pets are inspirational, and just make life better!

  • @fidgetingfinch Thank you so much for sharing Chino's story. I hope she keeps doing so well! -- Veri

  • Have you considered that the bags may be placing undue stress on the dogs joints?

  • who are the three heartless that dislike this??? i mean come on its Allie

  • get well soon girl

  • Best wishes girlfriend, hope you make a full recovery without a hitch.

  • She has your spirit, you instilled it in her. She is a fighter and she will be 110% in no time! She is tough is like john wayne, if she could speak human, she would say take the other band out, I will grow fins and swim lol.
