Listen I had a problem when I closed my can the paint came off around the sides.

@LaSharown Hi sorry to hear that. In the future be sure to stop painting at the line where the lip of the lid is when it's on the can if the lid is already tight. Hope this helps.

Also putting painters tape or any removable tape around the top of the can while you paint will keep it protected and easy to place lid. I've done dozens of these things and that works every time :-)
