do a little research on how the income tax is unconstitutional and u dont have to pay it, how the federal reserve is a private bank, and how basically 25% of what u earn goes to the pockets of private bankers and not to the government to be used for the good of the public.
start from this root, and branch to the consequences of its existence, ull c the big pic.

but i can give u a quick answer to ur question, technology. we can very easily produce more than enough food for everyone on earth, so instead of making people work for food, just give it to them for free, so they can do better things. we have the machinery to automate the whole process, its easy.

@nicamy8988 i think i know what mistake ur making. ur thinking the venus project will be a perfect world, whereas its clearly not perfect because u can imagine certain scenarios where the system does not prevent people from getting hurt. well, its not an utopia, never claimed to be. its just much better than what we have now. in the current system, a shitload of bad things happen, all the time, and theres nothing anyone can do about it except the venus project, which reduced those by a ton.
