  • No way do the Falkland Islands belong to Argentina, the only people who have a claim to the islands are the Falkland Islanders and they want to stay British!

  • Brits see video sZB5fzMe_qA

  • @agormanvideos ?

    Doesn't go anywhere

  • @iRiggers Sorry, it's a youtube video code, you have to put it in the URL after "watch" like this: watch?v=sZB5fzMe_qA You can also use the search box to look for the code and find the video. I wish we could directly place links to videos in the comments.

  • @agormanvideos youtube.com/watch?v=sZB5fzMe_qA

  • HMS Dauntless is arguably one of the most elite warships on the planet today, it's extraordinarily capable missile defence system will render any modern jet as easy prey, and by positioning this ship next to the large military airfield, and with the protection of a Trident class nuclear submarine, would make an Argentinian attack futile, from the air or sea.

  • @charlieiscool1000 - Totally agree

  • When Britain first, at heaven's command,

Arose from out the azure main,

This was the charter of the land,

And Guardian Angels sang this strain:

Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves!

Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.

  • @MrXray2011 Take note of Britons never shall be slaves- the people of the Falkland's are British.

  • Self-determination. It is on the UN Charter, live with it, or we will have to wallop you wogs again now won't we?

  • A bunch of smart asses hahahaha

  • England 2 Argentina 0, Don't cry now Argentina, the truth is the Falkland Islands don't belong to you. England loose at lots of things, Football and Eurovision Song Contest to name just a few. You have to just let go sometimes and take it on the chin. Be men and grow a pair.

  • @MarlonToWin LOL who gives a shit about eurovision don't even get started with that crap everyone knows the UK have some of the best singers in the world just look at Adele shes topping every single chart including in the US for weeks on end further more to the point the Falklands islands have belonged to Britain for a very long time Argentina have no real claim over them they should just learn to let it go and stop whining and bitching about the UK all the time.

  • Oh my God!!!...how could be a person so stupid???...he's drunk or what???

  • Argentinians HMS Dauntless is on it's way to you, please declare war on us so we can test her out :)

  • @massecrante97 Stop talking about shit you do not know about. Britain owns nothing, NOTHING. We haven't for decades

  • @darjavauch1 jajajajajaja

  • ROFLMFAO now Argentina is colonialist?? My god what a clown this guy is, do we have to remind you where the islands are located? You're trying to exercise control in another continent territory and now we find out that a british company is sucking oil in the middle of Argentine jurisdictional waters far away from the islands. And we are colonialist?? Fuck you UK FUCK YOU!! MALVINAS ARE ARGENTINIANS

  • @massacrante07 It is ARGENTINA that is trying to force their rule over a people who don't want it.

That is colonialism. We gave back our Empire, we are giving Scotland a referendum on independence, we asked Gibraltar as well - TWICE!

    Go to hell.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 Argentina is forcing no one. Argentina only wants to discuss this and is always using the diplomacy. We are the most anti-colonialism country in the world. It was an Argentinian who lead the revolution against the spanish settlers and gave freedom to 4 South American countries (Paraguay, Bolivia, Perú and Chile). So no, Argentina isn't colonialist. This guy has no idea what he's talking about. The UK exercised colonialism over centuries and still does.

  • @massacrante07 ...Well here is the deal, the Falkland Islanders have had a referendum to see if they want to enter into any discussions with your government...they DON'T! So as the elected representatives of the people our government has no choice but to decline your invitation to any discussions. THAT is a modern democracy working on behalf of the people for you....try the same methodology sometime...it works well!

  • @BasilFawlty4444 The principle of self-determination is not applicable since the current inhabitants are not aboriginal and were brought to replace the Argentine population that was expelled by an act of force in 1833.

  • @marcoscasoetto Lmao, there were no Argentinians on the Islands it was uninhabited the British founded it in 1830, the ISLANDERS want to remain British and they shall do so, it's a bad Idea to go to war again over this you will lose.. Hard

  • @TheSaintAza Look at Falkland Islands sovereignty article in wikipedia, or read about it there were argentine population in the islands. The principle of self-determination is not applicable since the current inhabitants are not aboriginal and were brought to replace the Argentine population that was expelled by an act of force in 1833. Argentina will never make a new war. It is in our constitution, we will deal Malvinas case only with diplomacy. The dictators are in jail

  • @marcoscasoetto So if that's the case then Argentina should not have self-determination because you are not the indigenous population you are descendants of Spanish colonialists who came to Argentina and exterminated the indigenous people.. therefore you should still be under rule of Spain and not be an independent country, your president only wants the Falklands because it was her dead husbands dream..

  • @TheSaintAza Spain is not claming the lands. And the natives were mostly exterminated by spanish.

  • @marcoscasoetto Argentinians are not the indigenous population.. your descendants from Spanish colonists lol

  • @TheSaintAza So?. Argentina is not colonialis, what about UK?

  • @marcoscasoetto That's not true. There was never a permanent Argentine population on the islands.

And that argument is pathetic - considering that the entire population of Latin America is NOT indigenous. How would you like it if you were told to go back to Spain?

  • @BasilFawlty4444 uh sos un poco fanático man.

pd: renunciaste a tu imperio?

  • @massacrante07 ...temper, temper...what flag is flying over the islands and whose water is it...yes, whose? Sorry mate...it's the union jack and it's OUR international waters. Get used to it and stop winging...(English for complaining like a discontented puppy)!

  • is this the house of commons

  • malvinas are of argentina!! and if you dont like it fuck off

  • @micaela1488 Last time i checked they are British, Fuck off and sort your own country out before chanting shit.

  • @distantkilljoy i said if you don't agree then fuck off. fuck off then who cares your opinion moron

  • @micaela1488 Now go and say that to HMS Dauntless.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 fuck you garfio

  • @micaela1488 British people actually quite like it when you call us pirates.

    It's a fitting title.

    Pirates are cool.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 really? then put ur garfio in your ass english faggot thats what you like and go back to europe

  • @micaela1488 I live in Europe.

And I don't seek to tell anybody else how to live their lives - unlike Argentina, who seek to exert their will over the poor Falklanders.

Can't you see that they just want to be left alone? By being such a whining child, Argentina is making no friends.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 we have many friends stupid, except england until they give us the islands, and if they wanna be alone they could be independent thats just a lie.and we don't want them out we are not like england.they expelled us and then they say they respect people yeah right.anyways they can live there we just want the islands

  • @micaela1488 Oh please, that is a myth that has long been disproven.

No Argentines ever had a permanent settment on the islands.

It is that COLONIAL attitude that we will not tolerate.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 you know nothing search: gaucho rivero. he lived there and he was the leader of a resistance against the british, and search luis vernet he was the mayor and you expeled him too. IGNORANT

  • @micaela1488 Vernet communicated with both the BRITISH AND ARGENTINE authorities, Rivero was a murderer.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 at least u recognize argentinians lived there. and vernet was considered mayor of the islands, even if you say he had communication with british.because he was named mayor by argentinian authorities. now give us back the islands . your people can stay there if that's the problem. then your government dont have more arguments. they'll keep repeating we don't respect the islanders when they can keep their nationality. you are liers.

  • @micaela1488 Why should those people be forced to live on foreign territory?

The islands were never properly yours, and your only claim is based on proximity.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 you are a stupid, if all british are like you then your country is fucked up. there's many arguments i just gave you one and you say we are based in proximity, you have a mental problem. and if we wanted to force them to something we woul kick them out like you did, so it's totally the opposite. and they have been living in a foreign territory already

  • @micaela1488 And that attitude is why David Cameron is calling Argentina colonialist.

You may claim that territory, but the fact is that the Union Jack flies over Port Stanley.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 @BasilFawlty4444 Now i believe you're not a stupid, you are a retard your comments have no sense. You really have a mental problem, i feel sorry for u. how argentina can be colonialist when we made a war against colonialism? (spain). England has 10 colonies, i believe i shouldn't talk about that because it's totally obvious, you can understand it by yourself. but because you're a retard i must explain u everything,

  • @micaela1488 My friend, we gave back all our colonies and we are currently planning a referendum for Scotland.

The only territories that remain WANT to be British.

    (continued)

  • @micaela1488 (continued)

Just because Argentina once fought a war of independence doesn't change the fact that your current attitude towards the islanders is objectionable.

  • @BasilFawlty4444 we dont have any attitude against the islanders because we never said or did anything against them your country use them for convenience,we just want an agree with england. and our president said we respect their freedom and the way they live they can be british we just want the islands.so whats the problem? everything we say it's not right for u, the only truth is that malvinas belong to south america you just must accept it

  • @micaela1488 The problem is that these people shouldn't be forced to live on foreign land! Is that so hard to understand?

The Falklanders just want to be left alone. The land is theirs!

  • @BasilFawlty4444 @BasilFawlty4444 thats an excuse if the land is theirs then why they are not an independent country? u must understand you should stop messing around with us we dont want you in south america southamerican countries dont accept england. and you dont have the right to be here. and the islanders dont have anything to do with this, the problem is with england! end of the subject

  • @micaela1488 We don't care and it really doesn't matter what you or South America think.

The Falklanders are pretty much independent. They rely on us for defence. For obvious reasons.

  • Comment removed

  • @micaela1488 ...ok, end of subject...the islands will still be flying the union jack in the morning!

  • @micaela1488 ...nope, the islanders don't want to be governed by you. It's that simple so you can want as much as you like your not getting them. You simply won't show them the respect that they deserve and I don't blame the islanders one bit! THAT is the problem....

  • @micaela1488 I think what you fail to see is that these people want to be, and are British, not Argentinian, they are the people of the Falklands, as it does not have any indigenous population, and they have been there for over 300 years. They are there as they want to live there and want to remain a part of the UK, not forcibly join into Argentina.

  • @humgerguty2 we're not talking about that, dont confuse things. one thing is the falklands and other thing is the people from the island. we claim the falklands, that people can do what they want we don't care. they can remain british, stay there, or comeback. it's their personal choice.

  • @micaela1488 It would be impossible for the Islands to be Argentinian and the Islanders British. It's not possible.

The Islands AND the Islanders are either one nation or the other. Or the Islands are split down the middle, and even that won't work because the Oil reservoirs under the waters will possibly span from one side to the other, and That would cause more problems.

The only solution is: 1. Ignore Argentina 1. give Argentina the Islands 3. Make a joint oil company & share

  • @iRiggers of course everything is imposible if you keep refusing dialogue. And btw dialogue doesn't mean giving up the islands. There are many choices. I believe, of course, the best would be to give us the islands. And if you don't wanna leave your interests, british oil companies could work there. And many comercial agreetments between the 2 countries. i wish we could end this issue and achieve a friendship with the UK. that's why i think you should accept dialogue for a solution.

  • @micaela1488 Have you seen this video: watch?v=6gHwydTTvCo

  • @micaela1488 The problem is that Argentina's interpretation of 'dialogue' basically means the UK turning it's back on British citizens and giving Argentina everything it wants in return for nothing. The UN called for dialogue. This doesn't mean they are saying the UK has to give the Falklands to Argentina and this is how Argentina has interpreted the UN's words. How can we possibly 'negotiate' with a nation that doesn't even understand the meaning of the word?

  • @clutchSlipper Of course you know what we want, but if you agree to dialogue we can find a solution in the middle. UK's position is very childish. And of course the UN supports dialogue They are still neutral, we know they don't support us. The only thing UK says is they respect islanders interests. We always said we respect them too, they wanna remain british and we are not agains that, we only want the territory. the only problem is oil that's why i said both countries should work together.

  • @micaela1488 This is the problem mate. I don't think we can ever find a solution because neither Argentina or the UK will shift on their demands. Both countries are just as stubborn.

  • @micaela1488 ...Britain has about ten overseas territories where the people chose to remain British by self determination. It's quite simple really, if they didn't want to be British we would let them go on their merry way...

  • @BasilFawlty4444 ...well done Basil, flies well too...watched it being put up in 82. A rather pleasing result at the time!

  • @micaela1488 ...well your not getting them!!!

  • @BasilFawlty4444 you are not sexy as jack sparrow, you british people are the ugly face of pirates :)

    sorry.

  • @micaela1488 They never were and never will be, the people on the island all voted to be British and they shall remain so. I can't wait for round 2 this time we can do some proper damage.

  • @micaela1488 Argentinians are the ones that need to fuck of the Falklands. You accuse of of colonialism but you're probably a descendant of a white Spanish colonialist that came to argentina and ripped the indigenous people of their resources.

  • @SonyLiteR Argentina is the same case as Australia, Canada, N Zealand...nevertheless my dear dad is European like you not a Spaniard, and Argentina offered everything he needed...It is time to nearing each other and understand we live in a peaceful nation with noble aims. Malvinenses, we embrace-you warmly in Argentina! We love-you, we never hate-you!

  • @SonyLiteR we're not moron there's people of many races and natives too, and they fought against british too so u don't know a fuck about argentina so don't talk about my country and take your ass out of the falklands and comeback to europe

  • @micaela1488 i could well have said take your ass out of Argentina since you're probably white and therefore not one of the indigenous people. The falklanders have the right to determine who rules them and argentina cant take that away. And if argentina is only after the land and oil well. Come and get them our Marines and air force will annihilate your army again like we did 30 yrs ago. Also even though you have the whole of third world south america fighting with you we have our friend france.

  • @SonyLiteR Yes they are and the part of Spain where those colonialist came from is called Basque country

  • Comment removed

  • @micaela1488 ok then we will fuck off and STILL own these islands. It is indeed your country that needs to fuck off!!! Why don't you argentinians just leave us alone, we where here first before argentina excisted. stop moaning and try claiming other parts nearest to your country for once, Why don't you just try and invade uruguay or something, i think there closer....

  • @lam1jam because you messed with us first,we dont go around the world choosing a country to invade like u.if we want the islands its because they are ours we have arguments you didn't leave us alone in 1833 u didn't care, anyways we're not like u and we respect that people, but england must accept they belong to south america! just live your quiet life in europe and stop invading other continents. we dont want you in south america and u DONT HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE HERE its simple to understand

  • @micaela1488 But the people there want to belong in the UK, as they have no cultural or ethnic tithes to Argentina, and we have had the islands for 300 years, far more than your 13, Argentina has no rightful claim other than geographic, and even then, it is a flawed argument for Argentina.

  • @humgerguty2 what's a cultural tight? they can remain british like there's many people with british blood living here. we have many cultures and no one wants to make them argentinian

  • Comment removed

  • @micaela1488 ...1st you obviously don't remember invading in 1982 then, I do because I was there! 2nd have a look at the other islands around the world where people self determine their existence by the ballot box rather than the bullish behaviour of a loutish country and 3. You lost all RIGHTS to Falklands back in 1982 let alone your prudish, prickish, indefensible recent behaviour!

  • @micaela1488 ...I have pointed this out before but you did look for a country to invade in 82, you invaded us and look where it got you!

  • Comment removed

  • @micaela1488 ...ok, we will f... off but the union jack will still fly over port stanley, just like when I watched it being put up in June 1982.

  • Comment removed

  • Britain is 1 of 4 founding nations of the UN do you think you can just bully Britain? We are a small nation but we wield a large stick!

  • @elgringoseba Give peace a chance? Who is making the claims? Who is the imperialist trying to assert it's will on a people who have no wish for them to be there? The UN will always continue to back Britain, as they did in 1982.

  • fuck! and declare war on Argentina over with nuclear weapons have

  • well i know what war im going to be in when i join the army in a year ill see all you conscripts next year to and hey please make shure you carry somthing worth taking home to show my friends thanks

  • WHY ENGLISH PEOPLE persist to belive that they main problem today is Falkland? WHY ENGLISH PEOPLE dont realize that Cameron is using the Falkland topic just to distract english population from the real internal problems? Salary CUTS Public CUTS Health spendig CUTS, Education spendig CUTS Inflation and Recession Financial crisis AND A LOT OF MILITARY SPENDING Cameron is just doing what Margaret Tatcher did: USING FALKLAND TO HIDE REAL INTERNAL PROBLEMS Playing war can be to expenssive
  • Comment removed

  • @Veronikaynadamas by the way this falklands issue gets no media coverage in the UK and most of us dont even know about these islands i even had to look this issue up to find out what it was and we dont even learn about it at school.

  • @Veronikaynadamas yes we have problems the same as we did in 1982, but your government is doing the same as the junta did in 82, using the falklands to distract the people from the mess that your country is in. inflation in britain is about 4% and falling, inflation in argentina is about 25% yes britain is cutting spending to deal with debt problems but how much debt is agrentina in, the argie people are being fooled by their government wake up b4 its to late and we are at war

  • Stop pissing about on here. You can't have the islands, face it. You have near to none international support, you have a tin-pot military, and the Islanders thenselves do not want you there. Go home, stick with football, you can't win a modern war.

  • @maxbarton007 You want a war in 2012?? Fuck you, give the peace a chance. By the way, we have the support of all latin american country, China, Siria, India

  • @elgringoseba why should the Falkland Islands be Argentina's? that would be forcing the British citizens on the Falkland Islands to be controlled by a foreign power, and that is colonialism end of full stop. they where never Argentina's and never will be!

  • @maxbarton007 Actually they do have a lot of international support for some reason.

  • @JimothyMcgee Because of many factors I can't put in 500 characters.

  • Look, the islanders never were argentine, because in 1833 there was an argentine population but "freedom lovers" take them out. And then came some colonizers from England!!!!
