To counter this, Shimano is planning to rebadge the current DuraAce version to Ultegra with about half the current price. At the same time, they'll release a new improved version as DuraAce.
It's only a matter of time, SRAM will join the game, probably with some added innovations.

if you haven't tested this , go out and test it . BUY it or whatever . It's a sold product from Shimano .

Necessary? I won't get into that but I will say this is an excellent shifting system and it does work better than a cable actuated system.

That's the only real benefit you get from these shifters than the non electric one.

No.
It shifts smoothly on full load such as sprinting, climbing. Because it doesn't have a cable that is affected by frame flex.
You shouldn't be making comment by guessing on something you've never used before.
