Then again, I kinda have to refute his point about israel needing the US to maintain regional dominance. They are the only nation with nukes out there.

Israel got those nukes from the US, Israel gets $3 billion from US every year, Israel gets all military, economic and diplomatic support that keeps it going even when the entire world (except 4-6 countries) are against the Israeli apartheid and occupation. I doubt those nukes will be helpful if the majority of the world could act freely (without US influence) to impose military and economic sanctions on a country that's a continuous violator of human rights, as Amnesty Int'l noted.
