I always believed the first car on the lead lap to take the checkered flag was the winner, but that's not always the case apparently. It would have been been hysterical to see everyone else slam on the brakes so they could fall behind biffle and cause a huge stack-up coming to the checkered.

The one thing I thought was funny about everyone bitching is that both Clint and Jimmy a) pass Biffle under the yellow b) Are speeding under the yellow....the only way Biffle would not have been given the win is if he got a DQ

When I said yellow I meant under the yellow flag conditions, no drive is allowed to advance their position under the yellow, and NASCAR officials actually reported after the race that both Jimmy and Clint were exceeding pace speed when they crossed the line thus negating the fact Biffle was slowing.

Cause you can't pass under yellow. In fact, if biffle was given the win, why didn't nascar black flag the 7 and 48. I think they probably gave them some room because they were confused whether or not Biffle was under the minimum required speed.

Um, you can pass below the yellow line at any track with the exception of Daytona and Talladega. They don't pass below the yellow at most tracks because it messes up the entrys in to the cornor, but still Daytona and Talladega are the only tracks that you cannot pass the yellow line at.

I hate the 48 also but hey the rules clearly state that the field is frozen and all drivers must keep at pace speed or they will lose those positions.  if he would have ran out of gas on the back straight and not got to the line would he have been declared the winner NO. But truth is this rule has so much gray area that it can be used to dictate races

The rule does state that they must maintain a minimum speed, but it's not pace speed, it's something lower. I don't know what it was in this case or if he was even maintaining it. So the question is was he maintaining it or not.

I wouldn't say johnson is a cheater. But I will say he has never earned a lot of things he's done in nascar. Including his championship. This year he's about to win the Championship and it's again because of the Chase. The Chase is the worst idea ever, it promotes people who finish in 10th and punishes drivers who finish in 1st and 2nd.

In my mind it was bowyers win, but nascar can bend there rules all they want becouse don't forget mark martin at daytona they alowed them to race back to the line when they where supposed to throw the yellow and harvick won instead. I'm a clint bowyer fan plus from kansas so I'm just a little disapointed...Bowyers the REAL winner at kansas good job man don't get down for this you can still win the chase!

If he had gas left in the car he would of drove it into victory lane or at least drive it at least closer to victory lane."They told me to get out, they wanted to push it." Who in there right mind wants to push a car? If there was gas in the car then how come he was coasting to the line when he knew it was the last lap? that is what boggles me. P.S. Nascar had already decided to call the race at lap 210, which is the lap they would have gone back to green for the Green White Checker.

Also, it was very dark at the track, since there are no lights at Kansas. The cameras were adjusted to make it look brighter than it actually was.
