How do you make tumblehome and sheerlines with this?

With the aid of the plugin :"SoapSkinBubble".

As far as I can tell this method will only give a straight sheerline. I could add pressure with the plugin to get some tumblehome, but I had no control of the rest of the hull. So it's pretty useless for boat design.

Yes its a speedboat. But y it was the intention to explain how to draw a fuselage of a ship.

cool! but is there a "mirror-option" on sketchup? so that you can mirror one side of the fuselage to use for the other side?

Once you have a group or a component---> Click inside the group with the right button of the mouse + CTRL key and you(l get a pop-up menu. Choose for Flip around green,bue or red axis. Thats all.
