  • Creating a lofted surface which terminates at a point is a poor surfacing practice. Improperly using a loft in this way will result in a degenerate point and will cause severe tearing and rippling of the surface toward the tip of the cone. You can verify this using the Verify -> curvature and zebra stripe analysis tools. Further surfacing tools are required to model this type of geometry.
