Thats my brother Dom (Dominick Vea), one of the very best driving you up the mountain. You were in good hands for sure! Getting up the mountain is one thing, but getting back down is another...
Are you familiar with the older composers from the 60's ? .. Alex North who wrote the score for Spartacus and Miklos Rozsa who wrote the music for Ben-Hur are also two brilliant composers ...Their music may be considered overly dramatic by today's standards , but it still kicks ass !!
I just love music that emulates. can't stand music that immitates. Go to my other films and listen to the original scores I've had composed for my own short films. Jon Edmonds Brown has the magic - he just doesn't have the studio power behind him - much like myself. but that'll all change one day
My feet sunk because I was walking down the steep crater wall of the worlds highest volcano. At that altitude there was no dust kick up. The rocks are deceptively heavy - being composed of titanium. The moon landings were filmed at Langley. The video used to be available here at youtube but has since been taken down. It showed the full set and even the cable set up for the low gravity and LM lift off.
Timefilm ... Thanks for letting me know who wrote that music .. I will definately buy one of his albums.
Yes, I know that some of the moon landings were filmed at Langley , but nasa used other moonsets as well .. and this location looks exactly like some of the Apollo 17 footage , where they needed a much bigger set ... The A17 'South Mastif' has been spotted here and also the volcanic 'walls' are a match for some of the faked sets as well .
time ... I was thinking that the score you used might have been from King Kong ... So I was right about the composer anyway .. I like this guy's style very much ... James Horner is brilliant too , but his work has become common place now , especially since the Titantic score was so over promoted .
I agree with Horner, the man seems to have burned himself out and all his scores have the same tone. a shame because his earlier stuff was always so original and classic. James Newton Howard seems to have aquired the best of what Horner, Goldsmith and even Williams had on offer.
I blame the media for Horner being burned out .. The guy is a musical genius , but the pressure of having to produce so many different movie scores in such a short period of time , forced him to plaigerize himself ...
The same for John Willimas and John Barry also ... All of their music sounds so much alike that it's difficult to tell which score is from which movie now.
sometimes I just wish they would take a breather and listen to their own styles that got them started. maybe even bring in some fresh blood to take care of the orchestrations.
Ange ... I was think that exact same thing when I saw how his feet sunk into the ground there ... It really DOES look like another planet , doesn't it ?!? LOL
This desolate place would be ideal for photographing some of the faked moon footage ... It's called " hiding in plain sight" ... Even the 'walls' are right there !
BTW ... Kudos to whoever put this video here ... The scenery and the music are top notch !
My friend here and I are Apollo hoax conspiracy researchers and it looks as though we may have spotted some of the mountain ranges used in the fake Apollo 17 footage .
May I ask what music you used for your video ? .. It is incredible and sets quite a mood ... Great job !
I have a whole series of these little clips from m ytrip to the volcano landscapes. The music I use is often from composer James Newton Howard - the man just writes great scores and I've been known to buy his cd's before I even see the films they are written for.

The fact that the dust you walked in didn't kick up would have worked well for them faking the moon dust in a vacuum too .

You know, when I was walking around this place I did feel like I was on another planet. I'm not sure it's where they faked the landing though.

Why a LM and a Rover would be parked there ?
Erm , for training to land and drive on the moon maybe ? LOL

How about that Ange ? ... That scenery looks just like the Apollo 17 'moon' mountains !
