an okay film that kinda was done an injustice by this inspired and emotional, yet shallow score. a score can make or break a film and some scenes that could have been funny were spoiled by these melancholic string parts. i didn't rent this movie to hear some amateur composer spill his heart out.
This music hit me like a brick after already being blown away by the stellar movie ... the ending of this film is one of the greatest and saddest moments in movie history.

You can say that about anything. "Why be with man A simply because you 'love' him? Surely man B will provide more money and genetically superior offspring." Of course emotions dictate what songs people like and if that makes little sense to you, you wont get very far as a musician.
