even in the army infantry what's basic the 82nd,101'st,10th mountain,3rd i.d/4th i.d.motivation is depended on the command you can have motivated grunts/just because your serving in the 82nd doesn't mean you can't be motivated.rangers are a smaller unit for quick seizures.they do not have artillery tanks attached to them.they only use what they can jump with.quick assaults snatch/n grabs.rangers would not be used as an assault force on a city.
i know what a marine infantry unit is capable of. obviously they are not "basic" meaning weak. you can be an infantryman in the marines just like you can be an infantryman in the army. you can go further than just an infantryman in the marines by going into marine force recon. you can go further than just an infantryman in the army by going into rangers or green berets.
a marine meu/soc has many more capabilities than an army grunt unit.also the marines have a new special forces marsoc.there is no more 1'st or 2nd force recon.the unit will be 100 percent up/and going in 2008.now socom has all branches under one.navy,army,airforce and marines.
its really just whatever you feel like. i like the army because there are so many different oppurtunities. you could go in and be a ranger and after a while you could go do something else like delta force or green berets. there are so many different things in the army that nobody even knows about. there probably are in the marines also. some people just like the title of being a Marine. i think you should join the army. but some marine would tell you its better to join the marines.

my point with the equiptment was not to insult anybody.but when i was in desert shield/storm me and my fire team would run recon missions into kuwait before the actuall war with no gps/using maps/compass.just because a unit gets a good budget doesn't make them superior.

if you want a challenge join the marines.spend time in recon.when you become an nco/team leader try for fore recon.you'll have a chance to go to scout sniper,scuba,jump,ranger.and royal marine schools.doesn't get harder.

They may look hard core and everything they do is the hard way (not very smart). They are a regular force if you want to be a part of a special group Rangers is the answer, they are part of Special operations. Oh did I mention that Marines still run around with M-16's. The choice is yours do you want to look like youre hard core or actually be it.

marines are hardcore look at history/lineage.we can do anything a ranger bat does except jump.trust me on that marine meu/socs are not just a regular force.we train in every climate and train with numerous countries forces.and rangers are not special forces they are a light infantry attached to SPECIAL OPERATIONS.

even in the army infantry what's basic the 82nd,101'st,10th mountain,3rd i.d/4th i.d.motivation is depended on the command you can have motivated grunts/just because your serving in the 82nd doesn't mean you can't be motivated.rangers are a smaller unit for quick seizures.they do not have artillery tanks attached to them.they only use what they can jump with.quick assaults snatch/n grabs.rangers would not be used as an assault force on a city.

i know what a marine infantry unit is capable of. obviously they are not "basic" meaning weak. you can be an infantryman in the marines just like you can be an infantryman in the army. you can go further than just an infantryman in the marines by going into marine force recon. you can go further than just an infantryman in the army by going into rangers or green berets.

a marine meu/soc has many more capabilities than an army grunt unit.also the marines have a new special forces marsoc.there is no more 1'st or 2nd force recon.the unit will be 100 percent up/and going in 2008.now socom has all branches under one.navy,army,airforce and marines.

its really just whatever you feel like. i like the army because there are so many different oppurtunities. you could go in and be a ranger and after a while you could go do something else like delta force or green berets. there are so many different things in the army that nobody even knows about. there probably are in the marines also. some people just like the title of being a Marine. i think you should join the army. but some marine would tell you its better to join the marines.

again the marines are considered an elite fighting force which is a marine expeditionary unit special ops capable.recon and the more experienced force recon are special ops.the regular army infantry is not considered elite but rangers delta and green berets are considered sf's.

Blacksheep here ( 2d PLT A co. 2/75), moved on now, still in the Army though. Nice to see this video. Reminds me of old times. The first dude in the chalk was a PVT when I left (as a TL).
