Those people are incredibly rude. I feel sorry for all those who came to hear their idols, and not a bunch of idiots who tought they were at an Oasis concert.
Listening to music is like swimming in waves. If the song is loud and fast, go with the big tidal wave and if it's slow like this one, listen and feel the song.
lol american crowds are the worst. always felt sorry for trent reznor whenever he performed 'hurt'. jap crowds are the best - quiet and respectful during slow numbers and rock out crazy when the music calls for it.
I like it how everyone is quick to blame ALL Americans for what a group of idiots did at a concert. I didn't know that all Americans attended this concert. Must have been a huge place. (In case you didn't get it...sarcasm) Americans are not all the same. Geez
Besides that, great song that had to be ruined by SOME people. Not all Americans.
I can't believe the people having small talk during this song!! WTF is wrong with you losers?? Maybe you need to go to a Fukn Daughtry concert and stay away from Radiohead.

Many Europeans can be cruel to Americans. Ive had relatives and friends tell me strories of how they get harassed for being or appearing American. Somebody went so far to punch my friend in the subway for wearing a "California" T-shirt. Ive never seen European tourists harassed for being European.
It is really amazing that every time I find out how ignorant and rude Americans are... f***ing cunt!!! learn some manners!!! don't know music, don't know attitude, don't know culture..SHAME ON YOU.
I wouldn't say this is America's issue, it's more of Florida's issue. I was at a Radiohead concert in Chicago and the fans were much better mannered, and made it a much more enjoyable concert.
I would agree kpbcool. Same thing for the Radiohead concert in New york Last summer. Exit Music silenced the crowd, you would have been able to hear a pin drop. This florida concert is certainly unfortunate. I watched another video of bulletproof from this same show, and once again, the crowd had no fuckin respect.
Same here, 09 live in Indianapolis was very respectful, most everyone was there for the music. when they flipped on the lights at the end of the show the crowd shuffled out with a 'holy shit that just happened' feeling.
oh yea, we americans are the only fucking ignorant/rude people on earth, stfu dude, everybody says americans are just oh so rude and cruel hearted, well ur all being exactly what you call us by constantly saying ALL amricans are like that, I was in europe last summer and for the simple fact i was an american, i was treated like shit by numerous people, and then ya come here and we just HAVE to treat you sooo fantastic, with all due respect, fuck of hypocrite
just because one american says something you don't like, don't group all americans together as being that way. You've been tricked by the media with the stereotyping ways of americans that only make up 1/4 of our entire population, unfortunately that 1/4 consists mostly of celebrities, athletes, and arrogant/ignorant people that always seem to be most quoted and seen. The media has made you single out a whole group of people.
@dishyandposh You do understand the irony in your post, right? You are being ignorant and rude by stereotyping all Americans as being ignorant and rude.
@dishyandposh this can be the most ignorant comment ever..it isn't Americans, I am American. It is people, some have manners some don't. It is easy to point the finger at American but please then explain the never ending vuvuzela noise at the last world cup? please people are people all over the world some are ignorant some aren't. your comment makes you look completely uneducated about anything including culture.
@dishyandposh Wow, that's an incredibly stupid and ignorant thing to say. You act as if Americans are the only ones who make noise during quieter songs at shows. Seriously, it's just a bigoted , childish and moronic mind set. Such bitterness.
Fake Plastic Trees and songs like THIS are songs that NEED to be experienced in silence. Watch a performance of this in ANY other country. One big roar and then silence. That's respect.
sorry thom for the a-holes who ruined this performance.... i would have asked for my money back, or at least apologized for the US rudeness. that's Miami/W.Palm for you :( (lived there, took off)
shit for brains recording couldnt shut the fuck up...i hope it isnt you who posted it... why even go to the concert if your gonna scream like its fucking brinty spears? Radiohead is supposed to be listened to... i hate ppl who scream just for the sake of screaming. Because some other ditz next to her feels like its the right time to. id probably leave.
sad to say that this performance was almost ruined by all the hollering. we had almost 60,000 people at the SF show and there were some people shouting but since the rest stood silent they eventually quiet down. I feel sorry for the ones that payed to go to this Florida show just to hear people cheering at the wrong moment.
wow... yeah.. I was at the Boston show.. and we were all dead silent during this song.. so Thom could enjoy it.. and he did.. actually thanked the crowd.
We scream so much because of drugs, booze, and or pure excitment. It would be I agree with the uk kid and that the concert would be way better if people would cheer before and after the show i mean americans dont get agree with the text because you and the band would have a better time and no sore throats.
I agree with Alex. I was at the jersey show and when they played this, everyone was dead silent, and it was the most beautiful performance I have ever seen. I would have been devastated to be at this show.

I guess you jest had to be there. :P It was probably the best show I've ever seen in my life and it really doesn't matter what anyone else was doing.
Plus I think that us "americans" get a little excited at times of greatness. There's no shame in showing your support, however you choose to do so.
P.S. you should have been there.
