Ok Sorry, now I can see a supposed volcanic eruption(The moon NOT HAVE A VOLCANO).Sorry but is the truth. Thank you for upload this video. Greetings of Uruguay.
@rborsibor Thanks for your comment. If you follow a planets birth as active and a slow decline in activity (mainstream belief) it is unlikely. But if you consider a planets slow growth, it would be inactive in its infancy and become more active as the mass grows. Just something to consider.
@simplyskyla You are welcome, found it fascinating. One suggestion from the Naked Scientists website is that its caused by pixelation due to digital zoom. another that it could be the light playing on a crater surface.
The Moon may not be the dead and unchanging world that many scientists believe. From time to time, parts of it may stir in a pale reminder of the volcanic and meteoric violence of its youth.
Some astronomers, claim to have seen transient lunar phenomena on its surface, have long suspected that there is some activity on the Moon.
For 450 years, there have been reports of TLP's - bright flashes to reddish or bluish glows over certain craters & valleys.
