However fyi, the shots she takes would be within accurate range of both rifles. if you ment something else just let me know

Homage to pekinpah,kubrick made vietnam like the old west.Lawless and barbaric.But this whole sniper scene(which is the last half-hour of the film)says more about the average u.s soldiers experience in vietnam,then any other vietnam film.Im assuming that most build an expectation that is impossible to match after the boot camp,and so anything after seems anti-climactic.But after repeated viewings,you see the intent.And its more powerful with each viewing.Kubrick films grow on you,like no other
