This Song remind me of my Dog,he was so sick, and most said good bye to him,he died at when he was nearly ten years old it was also in december two year ago. When he died this song where on the radio,by Radio Veronica,It was so beautiful this song that we acsept his death. He was my best Friend his name was Argos our Bouvier. And now his always beside me,And I feel him when he nights come to visit me.This song always remind me of my precious dog Argos. Many Greatings Ciska.
" i choose a life that took me away from you , and i will be forever blue " that line alone makes me very sad. it brings back those sad memories of yesterday.
@ flaphoofd. in my opinion a good song can be ruined by playing it all the time, however a great song like this remains great, even after playing it much too often. That is the difference between good and great.
No matter what kind of mood I'm in... Just the first tones of this song brings me back to earth, with tears in my eyes. Got no clue for who or what it's written, but got my own story to think about....
Amazing!

Best song ever? Hmm, perhaps. For sheer emotional power, it's hard to beat.

This song was off the third and final LRB album with John Farnham as lead vocalist. He left LRB almost as soon as this album was finished.

What a tune! Oh this is a classic track!
People need to download it for Christmas. I'd love this to beat the X Factor winner to the number one spot!

Found an old casette tape today, on wich I recorded this song from the radio a long long time ago.
Glad I found it, cause I had already forgotten this song, and it shows that years ago, I already had a good taste :D

@theblud1 I just read it wasn't John Farnham because he left in 1986 to persue a solo-career!

Sometimes a song is so great, it takes discipline not to ruin it by playing it all the time. This would be one of those songs - to me anyways.
