  • Chuck Norris is lying I've a documentary with him talking about how Bruce trained him from a stunt double into a 6 time world karate champion. He used to be a stunt double who would take hits from Bruce, the sad thing is if you look at all these video's he is older in, he lies. Look for videos with Chuck talking when he is younger. Pathetic.

  • I would love to have fought Bruce Lee. I would have lasted barely a few seconds, but it would have been worth it just to see his style and character.

  • Chuck doen't mention that he was NOT Bruce's first pick for the movie role. Joe Lewis was. Joe said no.

  • @itschip378 source please?

  • Comment removed

  • "professional fighter" as chuck said = karate fighter Bruce Lee in real fight will kill karate fight less than 20 seconds ! if Chuck can beat Bruce he would not like to act as losser in Bruce Lee 's Movies !

  • Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris , respect.

  • BRUCE LEE IS A GOD

  • as soon as you start practicing martial arts, you'll get more and more selfaware

and tho you can start opening your eyes for the world around you without fear or being insecure

  • The only reason people believe that Chuck Norris would dominate anyone in a fight is because of how much people have stereotyped him into this undefeatable character that sounds like somethin out of Dragon Ball Z. Lets look at this properly now. Chuck Norris' may be a REALLY good fighter in the ring, But Bruce Lee was a street fighter, Martial Artist & he's a LOT faster. So whereas Chuck Norris would perform his moves the "Official" way, Bruce would win due to his speed, style & agressiveness.

  • @QuarantineMovies "The only reason people believe that Chuck Norris would dominate anyone in a fight is because of how much people have stereotyped him into this undefeatable character"

Oh yeah, and Bruce Lee, who made up stories about fighting and excuses why he wouldn't compete, and did apparently spar BUT not while he was "training" Joe Lewis and Chuck Norris, was NOT stereotyped into this undefeatable character.

At least Chuck Norris competed with other trained people. BL didn't do shit.

  • @Ljenkins9000 You are one disrespectful motherfucker. And who the fuck do ya think you are? Tell me what you've accomplished in yer life. Boyscouting doesn't count, asshole.

  • @uguree

I honestly can not see anything in your comment that is anywhere near correct.

  • @uguree Did you know Bruce is half white?

  • @GpB217 he's not half-white. i think he's only 1/4 or something.

  • @ThePeeBottle Still counts.

  • @GpB217 just saying he's not 1/2 white.

  • @ThePeeBottle Still counts.

  • @GpB217 still counts as what? i didnt deny he had any white blood in him...

  • @ThePeeBottle Still counts.

  • @uguree btw, barbarians known as thehuns (not turks) were causing havoc, that's why the chinese built the great wall. years later, the chinese drove off the huns out of china, and the huns fled westward in the middle-east and anatolia (a greek and kurdish land). then, after years and years of cultural and religious assimilation by arabs, persians, and greeks, the huns became turks.

point i'm trying to make by providing you with this historical fact is this:

bruce lee kicks yo ass :D

  • @ThePeeBottle You've just successfully deployed the Chewbacca defense!

  • Comment removed

  • @ThePeeBottle Heh.

  • i hate it when people say they like lee but hate norris, i like both, both of them are amazing fighters and you cant say norris isnt an amazing fighter, and both of them have amazing character, neither of them are douchebags, so yea if you like lee then you have to also like norris to some extent

  • I like Chuck Norris,I really do.he is a man after my own heart with a lot of personality.

  • Hey lets just say that he could kick all our asses on here on youtube that makes him the Boss!lOL

  • i love bruce lee, growing up he was my idol. Now that im grown and martial arts has grown exponitially in my lifetime i will tell you all that mr.lee wouldt not last a round with a ufc fighter in his or any weight class he only weighed like 140. dont get all crazy now but someone like gsp should not be compared to a actor , mr.lee wouldnt even understand the technique or athletisism(sic)..

  • @bigoldrumstick im pretty sure bruce lee would understand, no offense but bruce was very smart in all aspects. but i do believe that the bruce lee back then would not be able to beat fighters in the ufc but if he would have lived he would have continued to learn and adopt all types of techniques because his style is no style which means he was also an mma fighter (mixed martial arts) and thats exactly wat bruce lee studied.

  • CHUCK FIVE TIME WORLD CHAMPION KARATE,BRUCE !!!!!!!!!

  • huh so all of you think bruce sucks???

can you be the best martial artist in history?

    can you be a legend?

    can you be a philosopher?

can you be a great father???

    i didnt think so

  • @pennyferret77 Agree with everything you said but the greatest martial artist? He was the most famous. But Ip Man had the most influence in modern Chinese arts, without Ip Mans Wing Chun, no JKD.

Being the most famous doesn't make you the best. Are the Spice Girls the best female group ever? No. L7 baby. Is Twilight the greatest film franchise? No. See my point? :)

  • @Motownisyourtown Being the most influential doesn't mean you're the best either, besides Bruce Lee didn't just make JKD out of Wing Chun, which he could have learned from another of the 5 people who accepted his "Plea" besides he was the fastest to date, has the most impressive power:size ratio to date, all of his trainers and friends said he was the better fighter, only one that said he could beat Bruce Lee was Dan, and that was only if they both used nunchucks, Bruce also admitted that bit...

  • To anyone who hates bruce lee watch the movie "The crow" the main actor in that movie "brandon lee" is bruce lees son......enough said

  • Neither of them couldn't knock the froth off a cappuccino.

  • how would bruce lee doing in the UFC? can he handle heavy weight?

  • it's cool that norris and lee were great friends...they completly respected each other...their movie fight was brilliant for the times....5 stars for both of them and thanks for the post...short and to the point....too bad many modern martial artists are so obsessed as to who was better...it's funny because bruce or chuck never cared who was toughter...perhaps we should concern ourselves with their incredible contributions to self defense instead of the shortfalls....just saying.

  • @MrStephenTiny better warn you. whole generations, hundreds of thousands of martial artists, myself included have serious issues with the statement you just made

  • All the these rumored fights that Bruce won on the street and in Hong Kong do not carry a lot of weight with me. Chuck's accomplishments are well documented. I am not knocking Bruce because he was awesome and his affect on martial arts was profound. He had a bigger impact than even Chuck. I just do not think it likely that any actor and amateur fighter could beat a multiple time world champion. You will note that Bruce never fought professionally, why not?

  • @thelt1971

~Simply because Bruce wasn't a World Champion doesn't mean he wasn't the best.He didn't want to compete.Bruce was a real fighter.Chuck himself admitted that if he and Bruce fought,Bruce would win no doubt.

  • @Newtamaki Where do you get off saying people are the best when they never proved it? You prove it through competition not by making movies. So with your logic Van Damme is the best ever?

  • @Warpath2198

~Oh Bruce Lee proved it many times throughout his life. You can't prove your the best by competition.Competitions have rules, street fighting all out has no rules.Bruce didn't want to compete.Bruce was a master and anyone who took him on during that time, ended up waking up looking at the sky.He was fast and powerful.I never said anything regarding Van Damme.Van Damme is very good, but certainly not the best.Karate is a rehearsed routine, real fights aren't rehearsed.

  • @Warpath2198 Look up Bruce on Wikipedia, and click "3. Fight history." You will see a list of his competitive matches -- some sanctioned, some not.

  • @thelt1971 Bruce did'nt believe in fighting for competition

  • @thelt1971--Woah there horsey! Chuck's accomplishments may be well documented but in karate tournaments the focus is on the technique and not the force. In other words, there are ridiculous rules and so on. Bruce was no holds barred. No rules whatsofriggin' ever. If I have to bite your fingers off to win, there is no shame. Nevertheless, all one needs to do is to watch the fight scene in "Way Of The Dragon" and despite Chuck's superior style and technique, Bruce was far more fluid.

  • dave no ur a lady boy lmfao

  • All the talk about who is better between Chuck and Bruce is pointless. They obviously respected and liked each other and saw each other as peers. It is not just anyone that Bruce would ask to come work out with him and there are not too many people who can ask the world karate champion to work out and he say yes. My money would be on Chuck though. He was a professional fighter and took on the best the world had to offer at the time. Bruce only fought in movies.

  • @thelt1971

~Interesting opinion but let me correct your outlook for a minute.Bruce fought realistic battles when he was young in Hong Kong and even after he achieved stardom in Hollywood,he was challenged many times on the streets and on movie sets in both America and Hong Kong.Don't forget Chuck was Bruce Lee's student at one point.Chuck was a professional Karate Champion, all he knew was Karate.Bruce knew & founded JEET KUNE DO (which is basically different styles in one).

  • @Newtamaki--Jeet Kune Do is the fusion of western boxing, chinese gung fu and european fencing. These three elements make up the foundation of Jeet Kune Do.

  • @tardwhisperer Its also crap

  • @thelt1971

~Bruce was not only a unbeatable fighter on the screen,he was also off the screen and in reality that even Chuck admitted that if he and Bruce fought a fight to death,no holds barred anything goes,no weight restrictions and no rules,Chuck would lose.No one could beat Bruce.Bruce was faster and stronger than Chuck.Chuck was a professional fighter,Bruce was a realistic fighter.A professional fight has rules & restrictions.A street fight doesn't.Understand the difference?

  • @thelt1971

~Chuck was a professional fighter true, but Bruce had schools of his own and taught many people including Actor's and celebrities.Bruce was even challenged by a Karate Master at the YMCA back in the late 1960's and his wife Linda Lee was present while she was six months pregnant with Brandon,Bruce Lee's son.Bruce defeated that Karate Master who was forced to walk away in shame. Also,Bruce humiliated Chuck during a spar at Long Beach in 1967.My money would be on Bruce no doubt.

  • @Newtamaki

supposed you're referring to BL fight 1963 in Oakland ??????

  • @thelt1971

    neutral infos

  • @thelt1971

he started out fighting for survival on the streets and shunned tournaments because he found all the padding and rules too unrealistic, or at least so claims a thing i saw on TV.

  • alot off people dnt understand martial arts even the people training in it dnt understand it dosn't mater what colour belt, sash or head band u wear, but the perfection of charecter that takes place.

  • @redscott66 exactly everything is the mind, not in the belt

  • alright now let me go to another video and watch some real martial arts...

  • Without Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris' acting career would be non-existent. Without Bruce, Chuck's career is in a shithole.

  • luke BL broke jchans neck ? wow and chan died ?

  • you all are fuckin kids. BL was never a fighter but an actor. for those askin about me and my age heres the answer. i knew BL and you werent even born. again BL was not a fighter he practiced some wc. thats all.

  • @pornpan96 BRUCE WANT A FIGHTER YOU DUMN SHITTTTTTTTTTTTT lol funny wene a young jackie chan challenged him in enter the dragon bruce broke his fkn neck in 3 seconds retard he would have beat chuck in under 3 minutes jerk off

  • @pornpan96 dude bruce lee was in streetfights since like he was 14 and he did compete a little

  • @pornpan96 ur a fuking queer

  • ''was he fighting ? NOOOOOOOOO, did he ever fight ? NOOO. what did he do ,? nothin, he just sat there..he just wanted to collect the real martial artists and figthers and beat em in his movies to create his movie hero status'' - @pornpan96

dumbest thing I ever hear lol

  • Did he do that ? did he achive his goals ?

    looks like he did,

otherwise we d not have buncha mother fuckin movie nerd freaks clamin a man who never ever fought in his life but acted in kung fu movies as a real fighter ,

man u fuckin pricks are really fuckin nerds.amof even BL would be so surprised and laugh if he d see all these freakin nerds and their claims .... lmao !

  • THINK ... why the fuck actor BL was in martial arts tournaments, ? was he fighting ? NOOOOOOOOO, did he ever fight ? NOOO. what did he do ,? nothin, he just sat there and wait for the winner, then what did he do ? he asked to CN to train together when they re back to l.,a, what they did ? nothin, just punchin the bag and kickin the bag lol,, so what was he after ? he just wanted to collect the real martial artists and figthers and beat em in his movies to create his movie hero status,, "!

  • @pornpan96 How old are you? The crap that's coming outta your mouth. And you know absolutely nothing. Bruce Lee never fought??? Right... Apart from all the gang fights he was in, in Hong Kong that got him sent to America. All the street fights he was in when he got to America (That's how he started to get a following ih the first place, people in the U.S. had never seen what he could before) , all the people constantly challenging him. You just assume coz he was in movies that he never fought

  • bruce lee? who the fuk is that?, a movie star? oh i get it

  • @lolthxbb hahahahaah way the go ,,

  • @muker123 you obviously werent loved as a child

  • Arguing over the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics....even if you win you're still retarded.

  • @BigSovietPanda thats beautifull haha

  • a fighter knows the greatest fighter he as ever seen everyone else who just pick sides

  • so many FUCKING trolls

  • the only reason chuck norris lost to bruce lee was because bruce was chucks asian long lost brother

  • am I the only one who clicked this because of chuck norris?

  • @thetallfilipino No. u r not the only one who clicked this to suck fuck norris's mother fucking cock... lol..

  • @phoniex1 ...my brain just imploded upon itself...in thought.

  • whenever someone asks me who i think would win in i fight, i respond "actually, i think they'd be good friends"

  • in all reality you can say what you want about bruce it won't change the fact that he'd pwn all the fake ass fighters in our generation ..he was a man built on physical training compared to now when most athletic fighters use hormones or steriods to speed up the process of muscle growth ....hard work surpasses the easy way out

  • you guys think I'm gonna read all these long ass comments

  • @pinpanXXI LOL

  • Sportsweek magazine dated 16 August, 1970 mentions Chuck Norris and two other white Americans who also became champions, as pupils of Bruce Lee. On Youtube, search the Spanish video named: Bruce Lee: La Leggenda - 3 di 11. In this video photo of the article is shown which Bruce Lee himself reads as well!. Chuck Norris was a pupil of Bruce Lee and that is why he and the others could become champions due to what they learned from him. Bruce Lee, is teacher of champions. Always remember this!

  • @kudretelin

there is a mistake, i meet another uploader with this part of video and i asked him, he said he dont know what about: Bruce meet Chuck first in 1968 when Chuck won the world title to Madison Square Garten. That was in Nov. 1968, and in the Bruce"s notice (on notebook ) , where name Chuck Norris is written, there is the date 19 Ian. 1968. Chuck could not be hes student before they meet.Anyway, all those 4 trained together, was something mutual and learned one from other.

  • @kudretelin

more exactly they shared impressions, and watched at the other ones ideas and experience.Wasn't a relation teacher-student.

  • @kudretelin

ah, and all of them ( Lewis and Stone as well) were already champions when they meet Bruce.Mike Stone was the first to meet Bruce and he concluded that Bruce had knowledge and is am ambulant catalog (enciclopedy) of techniques. That's why, his opinion was that it's worth to work and train with Bruce. He convinced Joe Lewis about that, then later was Chuck Norris there in their entourage. And Bruce learned from them as well.

  • it's documented, when Chuck was asked at a dinner. who would win in a real fight, himself or Bruce. he said without hesitation, "of course Bruce".... needless to say anything further.

that's the utmost respect coming from a 6-times world karate champion. Chuck is a great fighter and honest man.

  • it's a shame that holleywood was too prejudice to accept a "colored" hero at that time... that Bruce, the greatest ever, had to pursue his movie career elsewhere.

I mean, in a real street fight, Bruce can kill Iron Mike in less than 1 min.

  • yeah bruce want a movie now!!!!

  • I WIN I AM THE STAR OF THIS MOVIE!

  • @MetalBback Thanks for that comment MetalBback about Chuck letting Bruce win- You made me laugh first thing this morning.

  • @Mac6524 its about winning too.

if Bruce lee couldnt beat someone down and claimed to be a martial artist i wouldnt respect him.

But he could amongst other things he was able to do. So I have alot of respect for Bruce. An hornoable man not ashamed of who he was, and was able to whoop anus

  • @Mac6524 i can really here the respect coming from u now kind of an oxymoron 2 be an ass when talking about respect

  • @Mac6524

Loads of 'respect' you show with that comment. Perhaps your sensei should read this?

  • @Mac6524 Respect the haters too. It takes a wise man to deal with them.

  • @Mac6524

You're a moron, you're telling people to show respect, 'cause in martial arts 'you guys' respect. Yet you called them idiots and chipmunk mofukos? You're an pathetic, and the tae kwon do classes you been taking on the street corner with the toddlers next to the shopping center and 7-eleven doesn't count for martial arts asshole. Go run to your sensei and throw money at him for more shitty lessons.

  • @hiddenFogNinja, U R a joker.

  • @Mac6524 Don't preach respect and then call people idiots. Fucking kids these days.

  • @Mac6524 thats bullshit martial artists want to win why would you fight to lose, the thing they don't do is focus on winning they focus on the opponent as if it was an obstruction to break through. respect is important but when it comes to the fight every fighter wants to win or your not a fighter! bruce lee said, empty your mind dont think of winning or losing, pain or striking just do, dont think just do (paraphrased). thinking of the outcome is not focused mind let it be what it will be!

  • @sketchbomber He never said they fought to lose moron. He said, that unlike most people, that if they DO lose, they have enough respect for their opponent to admit defeat, go back to mat, learn their weaknesses, perfect their skill even further, and come back and try again. Stop trolling...

  • @sketchbomber thats not what i said you tool, what im saying in my post is every fighter deep down WANTS to win but they dont focus on that during the fight they just focus on the task at hand and not the outcome, im sayin that while the fight is happening they give all of themselves to that 1 thing no exclusion, yes there's respect if your the loosing fighter and you train harder to win next time, but if it wasnt about winninmg and loosing why would you train to be better next time!

  • @Mac6524 Respect? Calling people a bunch of idiot, chipmunk, mofukos? Yeah youre really englightend.

  • @Mac6524 lol :) good one my friend

  • look at Bruce lee's body, no one even has that much muscle. Bruce hits fast and hard he was even kicked out of hong Kong because he was beating down everyone including gangsters and drug dealers. Bruce had sparred with many professional fighters and beat them all, the only reason he didn't become a pro fighter was because his family kicked him out of hong Kong because he was beating people down.

  • even a pro fighters that time said "only people who want to die will fight BRUCE"

bruce got super skill, speed and fitness. he fight anyone on street when he's a teen, he got alot of real fighting skill and he is the best if he is here today on the UFC. no joking

  • chuck norris is a cunt

  • Chuck Norris "At that particular time I had no ambition to be an actor", =0 all you Chuck Norris fans better acknowledge and thank Bruce Lee because if it was not for Bruce then there would be no texas ranger or any other Norris flicks.

  • @latinprometheus

    DAMN RIGHT!

  • exactaly they are very good people, great fighters and great friends

  • Stop arguing about whos a better fighter, grow up,

The jokes are funny, but we must face that obviously Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee are both just Very good fighter, but they aren't gods, and i don't just admire both of them only because of their fighting skills, i admire them because of their movies, and every video i saw Chuck in, i had a good share of laughs because he looks like a good, funny kind of person. In real life thats what really matters you know?

  • Why did Bruce Lee have to die TT_TT

  • Chuck and Bruce were Outstanding fighters but most likely not the best for example type in Ip Man he was Bruce Lee's trainer and most events in the movie are thought to be true.

Also you cant really compare Those two together one does Karate the other does Kung Fu, In my opinion the best fighter would be a shaolin monk somewhere that nobody has ever heard of.

  • WHEN BRUCE WAS LIVING- MANY "PRO FIGHTERS" WERE HOLDING HIM UP AS THE 'KING OF ASS WHOOP'. Fighters, students and friends who saw him spar said he sparred circles around WHOEVER. Other famous fighters of that time gave BRUCE top respect as a FIGHTER. Everyone (including 'profighers') were intrigued with BRUCE'S fighting skills not his acting. I still know various Instructors who witnessed Bruce in person and say the Man was ABOVE AND BEYOUND what they had ever seen.

  • @MultiCArts1 I WIN I AM THE STAR OF THIS MOVIE! I say it was nice of Chuck to let Bruce beat him... that is what happened, Chuck let Bruce win...

  • @MultiCArts1 ur a fuck head,, who was holdin BL ? BL was not even known fuck face , he got famous cuz of his drug overdose death and all that martila arts magazins and shits sellin businesess. but he was good in one thing,.,, he could cha cha dance ,,,, like a fag hahahah,

  • @MultiCArts1 - who are these instructors u know who witnessed bruce in person?

  • @CTROCK Yip Man was Bruce Lee's trainer. :)

  • too much porn for pornpan69 ..turned him into chuck norris jr!!

  • Pornpan69 is son of chuck Norris and Joe Lewis!!!

  • let me tel you all somethin and that will clear it all, first of all Chuck norris was a tae kwon do and tan song do based fighter, joe lewis was a shotokan based fighter and a boxer plus, BL who was a begginer level of wing chun so how the fuck BL would be a teacher of these two who had different martial arts trainings and skill which all BL was against and named em as classical mess? how could an actor BL be teacher of fighting champs of such fighters got nothing to do with wing chun ?fk BL

  • @pornpan96 your not being very respectful to a great kind man who died, cursing at him is just sick so just lay off ok.

  • @pornpan96 What seems to be your problem with Bruce Lee? U claim he was a cha cha faggot and just poppin up in karate tournaments yet all the people that actual knew him say the opposite. Chuck Norris and so many others that knew Bruce Lee personally and trained with him say he was "the best"! If they say he was the best then why would a little punk ass youtube video pussy like you be screaming and crying out bad thoughts and ideas about a legend? You seem like you might be the jealous faggot!

  • @M14autoassault Nicely said dude, pay no attention to that pornpan96 idiot. Im a huge Bruce Lee fan as well. Similar to most of the respectful guys, or ladies that make millions of comments, in favour of Bruce, and his poor family. This weirdo panporn96 likes to wind people up, and cause arguments. Anyway, what kind of idiot freak, calls himself pornpan96 lol? He is obviously some freak, who most probably never had a girlfriend in his entire life.I know its hard, but i would just ignore him bro.

  • @genabet123 That was even better said, Lol!

  • @genabet123 hey take it easy jigga, know ur age and limits., you can be a BL fan but u did not know BL I DID ..

so think before you say somethin stupid , puk gai,,,,,,

  • @pornpan96 Jigga lol? Go fuck yourself up your own arse, you stupid queer, bitch arse punk ! Yo pansy boi, quit responding to my posts, you sad individual. With a name like pornpan96, your stupid name says it all lol. I bet your a virgin and you spend most of your time wanking (jerking off) in front of your pc most days. Why don't you get a girlfriend, or find yourself a wife if you can get one, with your attitude lol? Oh! You knew Bruce Lee, yeah right!? Michael jackson was my cousin then. lol

  • @pornpan96 "hey take it easy jigga, know ur age and limits., you can be a BL fan but u did not know BL I DID" obviously you didn't considering you said Bruce wasn't a fighter, fuckin troll elsewhere.

  • Correction : The Washington Post News Papers.

  • In the video called Bruce Lee Rare Interview , Bruce Lee said that Joe Lewis, and Chuck Norris were his students. They may have started Karate and be pros before they met Bruce But when they DID meet Bruce Lee they were like children being told they were doing it all wrong ! They were champions among other inferior people who were limited to Karate and didnt know what Bruce knew. What is a STUDENT ?

  • @truthhitmanisback well bruce was a student for that matter training under greats such as gene lebelle for judo and also learning other arts under other artists. bruce took the best attributes from many arts and made it work for him on a personal level but he wasnt an expert on all individual arts so bruce learned as anyone would. chuck was an expert in karate so bruce would learn karate from a karate expert, judo from a judo expert and same with boxing, jiu jitsu, muy thai and any other art.

  • @anselmochevelle Let me help you out. Bruce probably did not complete the entire wing chung system but he understood the principle of WC (evidently he already integrated other gung fu with his wing chun before he came here). He was a boxing champ before he came here and he also learned judo, wrestling, akido from others here. He was not a master of all these systems but he pulled from these systems and made himself a MASTER FIGHTER- That's what it's all about, right.

  • @MultiCArts1 i know he was a compettive dancer but ive never known of him beign a competitive boxer let alone a boxing champion. kung fu is often reffered to as chinees boxing so maybe your mixed up there, im not sure but as far as i know he's never been a competitive boxer nor took up boxing till he came to the states. in china he'd only ever learned kung fu under a teacher named yip man and rounded himself off here in the U.S.

  • @MultiCArts1 shut up you fool. Bruce started wing chun when he was 13, and no, he never mastered the art. But there's no evidence anywhere that he ever studied aikido physically. I own all the books he wrote. He may have read up on aikido, as he did with thousands of arts, but he never studied it physically, with mat time. He did comment on the pros and cons on several styles in 'Jeet Kune Do', but only from what he read, not studied.

  • @KurtCobain198666 he had studied Akido physically...My dad actually knew Bruce, that was one of the things they did

  • @chablehh oh well since you say you're dad knew Lee, i'll ignore the fact that there's no documentation of him studying aikido, nothing in his books mentions aikido, no biographies of him mention aikido, and take your work on it because your dad said so...right...

  • @KurtCobain198666 "sketches of numerous aikido techniques and ukemi in his books"

"have taught Aikido to Bruce Lee"

"Peter had a friend, Robert Nadeu, who owned a dojo in San Francisco where Bruce had been training."

    address to Robert's dojo's website-> cityaikido(dot)com/

no documentation of him studying aikido, nothing in his books mentions aikido, no biographies of him mention aikido...right...

  • @chablehh I went on the website, there's nothing about Lee in there. I've been through the whole site, and read the bio page of Robert Nadeu The Tao of Jeet Kune Do mentions nothing of aikido, Jeet Kune Do (a book comprised of the stuff edited out of the Tao) says this on aikido: "Pros: The Flow, Two Halves of One Whole. The footwork

Cons: Needs to work on adding uncrispyness to snap"

It also mentions karate (which he never studied) TKD (which he never studied) and other arts he never studied.

  • @chablehh Bruce Lee: Fighting Spirit by Bruce Thomas mentions nothing of aikido. The Man Only I Knew by Linda Lee Cadwell mentions nothing of aikido. I did however go on twistingwrists(dot)com/p=464 and founs an article of how Peter Ting beat Lee by spitting in his face to make him angry and using kotegaeshi. Of course the comments on the article have people calling it allot of B.S

  • @KurtCobain198666 haha yeah bruce wouldn't lose because he got spat on.

  • @chablehh just goes to show the mentality of that Sensei Peter Ting. I've studied aikido for four years, and I know if a student spat on a guest in our dojo, he'd be out faster than he could say 'Ikkyo.' It's rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. There's no evidance on that site, but let's look at this. Lee devised JKD. It incorporated wing chun, boxing, fencing, and jujutsu. If he did study aikido (yet to produce evidance) he didn't find it worthwhile to use in JKD.

  • @KurtCobain198666 JKD isn't a style, it teaches everything and leaves it up to the student to accept what works and reject all else, and it has allloooot more than just those few

  • @chablehh No, it's allot more than that NOW thanks to Inostanto, but when Lee was teaching it was wing chun, fencing, jujutsu and boxing.

  • @KurtCobain198666 than you're thinking of the wrong stage of JKD, it went through approx. 12 different stages, last and final form was 1 year before bruce lee died, Dan Inosanto helped the entire time, and was the first person Bruce gave regards to, to teach JKD

  • @chablehh actually, I just read that you're 31. You basically just replied to a guy on his page calling him a "cocksucker who wishes his mum never got raped." You use internet slang, and you insult people to make yourself "seem" superior. You're arrogant, ignorant, and incapable of debating like an adult. This conversation is over, any replies won't be read. And I've studied JKD for 14 years, and aikido for 4 years. No technqiues borrowed, no princibles, NOTHING.

  • @KurtCobain198666 No he called me a cocksucker who wished his mom never got raped

  • @KurtCobain198666 and I don't use internet slang, and I don't care if I seem superior, and you need to learn how to read, and if nothing was borrowed, then thats your instructors fault, as well as yours for not opening your mind, I dont care if you read this, it's not my fault you found people insulting ME and thought I was replying to them...on my page where it would do no good...on their account somehow

  • @chablehh Lee had sketchs of Aikido in his books? Which ones? What page number? Because I own all the published books he wrote, so you could easily correct me. Of course he mentions karate (which he never studied) thai boxing (which he never studied) tae kwon do (which he never studied). By study I mean mat time, as in continuous physical training. Of course if he mentions it in his book, it couldn't be his opinions based on what he saw/read of that art, it means he studied them all...right...

  • @KurtCobain198666 All you keep saying is things that we have to take your word, and taking what I say out of context, you're arguing like a mentally retarded jewish woman

  • @chablehh All that site says is: Bruce Lee came to spar. Sensei spat on him. Bruce got angry. Bruce got thrown. It takes roughly five years to get the basic techniques of aikido. Did Bruce train for five years? No. Did he have any rank or certificate in aikido? (6th kyu, 5th kyu etc?) No. If i go to a jujutsu school and get thrown about, have I studied jujutsu. No

  • @truthhitmanisback the point is that its mutual and works both ways, sorta like exhanging recepies, bruce teaches chuck and chuck teaches bruce...mutual so both were students if you wanna be technical about it but its the popular thing to think that bruce is all knowing and taught everyone which isnt the case. fact is that bruce was flesh and blood just as any man and not undefeatable as most are taught to think, he was good yes but not a god

  • @anselmochevelle Now you've reached the point of insanity !!!! Lol Bruce was a student of Ip Man , but NEVER a student of Chuck Norris lol Thats a concocted blue eyed lie and the white man trying to boost his devilish white supremacy. The white man has to be on top of everything. NO ! Bruce was the teacher and Joe Lewis and Chuck Norris were the students as said by Bruce himself, and also the Wahington Post !

  • @truthhitmanisback well if you wanna be technical about it im brown eyed, black haired and jewish but i dont see how you come up with race issues out of videos of bruce lee and chuck norris? I like bruce lee and appreciate his tenacity and his desire to round himself on and learn but the fact of the matter is that he's only been in streetfights and never pro fights and there is no footage to be found. i dont get caught up in the mytique of legends nor let it cloud my judgment.

  • @anselmochevelle he is a sick mother fucker , ignore the fuck, , BL was a cha cha faggot and he was just poppin up in real karate tournaments and meetin great champs like joe lewis , chuck norris and mike stone, BL was nothing in martial arts if he was something hed show that instead of makin show off one finger up his ass and one inch push shit to my dick kinda bullshit, BL himself asked those great fighters to train toghether and later made bullshit statements claimin them to be his students.

  • @truthhitmanisback mother fucker i can make a video and place it in youtube and say that i fucked BL in the ass,, would you believe ? i bet u d u fuck face
