I'd heard this song before when I was 15 yo, however, I didn't truly know its meaning until today when I listened to it again as an adult. It bought tears to my eyes b/c I could understand its meaning better. The words of the song is speaking about the losses, pain, & sufferings that many Vietnamese people had to endure during the last vietnamese civil war. Music composer TCS was not only a talented man but he was also a very brave person to write this anti-war song while the war was going on
