I have given up arguing with both creationists and people who take a scientific aproach to issues regarding when a human life starts, and what is right and wrong with abortion.
I do not care if abortion is right or wrong. I rather think that it is ones own choice, and nobody elses business. If I were a woman, and considered having an abortion, then that would be my own choice, and nobody elses. This is what is called FREEDOM!
If I get pregnant again and yet again have another ectopic I will end that pregnancy immediately. I've already lost one tube and nearly my life because of an ectopic pregnancy that burst before I found out I was even pregnant. I would like to have a child someday but if I have another ectopic and I 'wait and see" what happens I will lose my only remaining tube, my chances of having a baby someday, and maybe my life. If you've never experienced an ectopic don't even respond with an opinion!
cont'd for princessbecca..My personal experience has been that the women that got pregnant from rape (I know just a few,) will always have the memory of that experience. Having an abortion doesn't remove that. The one that had an abortion seemed angrier and more emotional about it than those who had their children. Also remember that abortions for rape account for 1 % of abortions in the U.S. I'd be happy to outlaw the 99% and then focus on solutions for this very hard situation.

If the Mother has a 98 chance of survival, then in most cases, the treatment can wait until baby is mature enough to survive delivered early..once baby is delivered preterm and doing well, Mom can receive treatment..
But, if Mom has cancer that is terminal and treatment will not save the Mother, the baby should be saved. Mother should not be treated just to prolong an already terminal life and kill the child.

This vid doesnt provide a good reason for not aborting a fatally deformed fetus. Why would anyone wait until said detrimental fetus was born, and then kill it for the sake of alleviating the problem? That defeats the purpose, which is to kill the thing before its born so as to not cause a problem. And shooting someone in a burning car would be providing a much quicker and less painless way to die instead of, say, burning to death in the car.

Depends, its not a simple question. You'd have to consider they're age, health, health conditions, surviving family members, the cost of their health preservation, and the amount of money available for all necessary processes for everyone. Its not black and white. Conceivably, there are some situations where one would euthanize the elderly for the wellbeing of the rest of the community. Its not something that needs to be done daily though. Old people are (usually) less of a burden that babies.
darkwolf, I know that it seems rational to end the pregnancy to save the mother but we have to remember that it is still a child being sacrificed. There was a woman who was named Gianna Beretta Molla who was given the option to have an abortion to save her life but she refuesed and instead sacrificed herself to save the child. That's was a true motherly thing to do. I know it sounds hard, but who would sacrifice a child to save him/herself?

Butchering babies is cruel and it is NEVER okay to murder babies even in cases of ectopic pregnancies. There are plenty of documented cases where babies who died in fallopian tubes were spontaneously (without any poison being used) aborted. Although rare there are cases of babies making it to term while being stuck in a fallopian tube. Trust God to handle it.

I totally agree with this film. I am a Christian and I saw the you tube film "Abortifacients." Its about birth control and how it kills a fertilized egg. Well there are some cases. My very dear friend had to abort her baby because the child was so severely retared and deformed that birth would have likely killed both. So she chose to abort and have others. Very sad but what are you gonna do? But I believe that abortion is not a birth control.

I have a heart defect, so too much stess on my heart while giving birth could kill or seriously harm me. If a want to have kids someday would having a seasection be easier on my heart than natural birth? I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP.

I have given up arguing with both creationists and people who take a scientific aproach to issues regarding when a human life starts, and what is right and wrong with abortion.
I do not care if abortion is right or wrong. I rather think that it is ones own choice, and nobody elses business. If I were a woman, and considered having an abortion, then that would be my own choice, and nobody elses. This is what is called FREEDOM!

If I get pregnant again and yet again have another ectopic I will end that pregnancy immediately. I've already lost one tube and nearly my life because of an ectopic pregnancy that burst before I found out I was even pregnant. I would like to have a child someday but if I have another ectopic and I 'wait and see" what happens I will lose my only remaining tube, my chances of having a baby someday, and maybe my life. If you've never experienced an ectopic don't even respond with an opinion!

cont'd for princessbecca..My personal experience has been that the women that got pregnant from rape (I know just a few,) will always have the memory of that experience. Having an abortion doesn't remove that. The one that had an abortion seemed angrier and more emotional about it than those who had their children. Also remember that abortions for rape account for 1 % of abortions in the U.S. I'd be happy to outlaw the 99% and then focus on solutions for this very hard situation.

I have seen how abortion is performed. That Mother still has to give birth to that baby, only they kill it first. They still have to labor and deliver the dead baby.

I actually know personally a little girl I baby sat as a teen..she's an adult now..she was raised by her grandparents and was loved.
Her Mother chose to not abort her and she actually did take chemo drugs during that pregnancy...Mom passed away and the baby survived...
That baby is now a physical therapist, and she has a heritage of a poem her Mom wrote to her near the end of her life about saving that childs life while she was dying.

So let me go over what u said, cause some pro lifers don't feel this way; u are saying that u think its okay for the mom to take the kimo, and if the baby dies it was just an unfortunate accident, because if that is how u believe then I feel the same. There are some ppl however that believe the mother should die no questions asked in order to save the unborn child, those beliefs bother me and I dont agree with them.

If it were me, I know I would delay chemo.
I believe that abortion should never be performed under any circumstance as that is murder.
I believe that when a Mother is pregnant, she should take care of herself and try to preserve the life of both her and her baby, any way she can.
Never do I feel it is okay to intervene and end the life of the baby on purpose.

You see I am a mother of a daughter, and if i happened to become pregnant I know I personally would get the treatment as soon as possiable; not only for myself, but also for my boyfriend and my daughter cause they would not want to lose me especially a daughter losing a mother, thats hard.

My opinion is this:
If the Mother has a 98 chance of survival, then in most cases, the treatment can wait until baby is mature enough to survive delivered early..once baby is delivered preterm and doing well, Mom can receive treatment..
But, if Mom has cancer that is terminal and treatment will not save the Mother, the baby should be saved. Mother should not be treated just to prolong an already terminal life and kill the child.

This vid doesnt provide a good reason for not aborting a fatally deformed fetus. Why would anyone wait until said detrimental fetus was born, and then kill it for the sake of alleviating the problem? That defeats the purpose, which is to kill the thing before its born so as to not cause a problem. And shooting someone in a burning car would be providing a much quicker and less painless way to die instead of, say, burning to death in the car.

Depends, its not a simple question. You'd have to consider they're age, health, health conditions, surviving family members, the cost of their health preservation, and the amount of money available for all necessary processes for everyone. Its not black and white. Conceivably, there are some situations where one would euthanize the elderly for the wellbeing of the rest of the community. Its not something that needs to be done daily though. Old people are (usually) less of a burden that babies.

darkwolf, I know that it seems rational to end the pregnancy to save the mother but we have to remember that it is still a child being sacrificed. There was a woman who was named Gianna Beretta Molla who was given the option to have an abortion to save her life but she refuesed and instead sacrificed herself to save the child. That's was a true motherly thing to do. I know it sounds hard, but who would sacrifice a child to save him/herself?
But our technology today would help save them both.

Just A situation for thought, say a women becomes pregnant, shortly after she is diagnosed with cancer. The women is told that if she goes through kimo she has a 95% chance of survival, but it will kill the baby. If she goes through with the pregnancy and opts not to take the kimo, she will most The women also has a family, and is a ,mother of 2 children; so do u think the mom should sacrfice her own life for the sake of 1 unborn, or save herself to live and care for her living children.

And besides, if Mom has a 95% percent chance of survival with chemo, the cancer is probably not going to advance very fast anyway...so, Mom could delay chemo treatments until after she delivers a healthy baby.
And if Mom comes to the point of really needing to start chemo earlier than the duration of the pregnancy, the baby could be taken earlier by c section and do quite nicely in a neonatal unit until baby grows and gains strength...cont

I'm just completely against stupid abortions. 'I'm not ready to be a mother', or 'I don't know if I can afford a baby' is stupid. Women in Africa afford babies- and most people in Africa go to bed hungry every night. Why can't you give up a laptop or whatever computer you're on for your living unborn child? Okay; if you people want to start counting abortion as murder, then you should count mothers who smoke and drink while carrying as child abuse and they should get charged with that as well, but thats not likely to happen is it? Nooo thats never a big deal even though it endangeres the baby's life just as much. Or mothers with STD or genetic disorders who have the risk of passing it on to the child, shouldn't that be counted as cruelity as well?

Let me understand your argument.
(1) Smoking during pregnancy is wrong.
(2) Smoking during pregnancy is legal.
(3) Therefore, abortion should be legal.
Your argument is illogical. If smoking is wrong because it THREATENS the life of a fetus, then abortion must be wrong because it does not just threaten the life of a fetus, it actually ends the life.

The old arguments regarding abortion are dead. Someone mentioned below "brainwaves" well they are in fact measurable. Pain is measurable. Fetal human characteristics are measurable.
So the argument can only be that of a womens right to "chose". There is no scientific data to use in the pro choice argument unless of course you believe abortion is a means of population control.
That is the single logical argument on the pro choice side. That is the argument lets put it on the table.

I don't consider the baby to be an full human being until it can survive outside the womb. I'm in week 8, and 17 and it was unplanned. And I still considering an abortion. But I'm not sure yet..

What about the baby's body? There is help Ginga. There are people who can help you take care of your child. Have you told your parents or freinds? You can also look up an organization to help you take care of your child in your area. If that doesn't work, there is adoption.

When a husband in a hospital has no brain activity the wife is allowed to pull the plug on him, so a mother should be able to do the same thing when the embryo has no brain activity.

Lets assume this is true, but in the case of pregnancy the outcome is that the embryo does get better "gets more brain activity" not worse as the case of the husband. also the husband is an adult that probably stated they didn't want life support. THAT is choice not abortion.

Butchering babies is cruel and it is NEVER okay to murder babies even in cases of ectopic pregnancies. There are plenty of documented cases where babies who died in fallopian tubes were spontaneously (without any poison being used) aborted. Although rare there are cases of babies making it to term while being stuck in a fallopian tube. Trust God to handle it.
It is NOT okay to freeze babies (IVF) for later use. Having 400,000 babies frozen and living in a laboratory is disgusting.

I totally agree with this film. I am a Christian and I saw the you tube film "Abortifacients." Its about birth control and how it kills a fertilized egg. I strongly agree with the Catholic church on the issue of contraception. However, I never knew about that before, because pentecostal churches dont really preach on that issue. I think its because they dont know too much about it . The drug companies lie to women about contraception.

i'm against abortion too... but i'm studying psychatry (medicien + psychology), and until week 10 the baby can't feel, it doesn't even have a real heart. and now imagine the situation, a young girl, 13 years old... raped and pregnant? every time she looks at the child she would be reminded of the rape... and even if she gave it away... she would get severe psychological problems...

brokso, a heartbeat at 6 weeks gestations and brain activity at 40 days has been measured -- the unborn child never stops being a human being and no one is entitled to destroy an innocent human being.

The rape was the cause of the psychological problems not the child & getting an abortion will never remove the rape from her mind it will always be there, it just gets better with time. Women can and many times do love their children conceived by rape.

Its funny:When a girl aborts the "in the way" babies & defends it by saying they arent babies or human..yet when they decide they actually want a child and get pregnant..ohhh NOW it matters..The fetus is suddenly precious life & they dont drink alcohol and eat the right foods,dont take drugs,etc.. because god forbid they do anything to hurt the unborn "real" baby they are carrying right?

I can understand wanting to save the mother if you can't save the baby too but there has to be a humane way to do it. I mean animals even get a better way to die than what abortion does to unborn babies. A dog gets to be "put to sleep" by Pentobarbital which is said to be quick and peaceful and takes about 30 seconds for them to die. A human baby have to feel the extreme pain of having their body parts torn away limb by limb or to feel the pain of being burned to death with saline. It not fair.

If a woman has a tubal pregnancy and wont survive the pregnancy, then the child will die 100% of the times. This isnt an abortion. If a woman has a hard pregnancy, she can c-section early. All abortions are selfish.

I agree with you kompixity. I don't know of anything that grows that isn't alive. I don't understand why people don't see that. Just because we can't hear the baby scream in pain doesn't mean it isn't feeling it's body torn apart. The hottest part of hell is reserved for those who partake of such evil. They want to use rape as an excuse to allow abortion to stay legal? I was raped and I didn't kill my daughter. I even ended up keeping her to raise myself. She's almost 16 years old. No regrets.

I believe that anti-abortionists may have this idea that doing so means one only has another means of "birth control"...NO! As PROS we believe that that is NOT the means of abortion, but only that under EXTREME circumstances should an abortion take place. Pro-Abortionists have feelings and lives too..we only want to see the best of human survival in the most compassionate way. To bring a child into the world who will only "suffer" is NOT the proper way to offer life.."ANTI's".please reconsider..

One thing I will never understand about those who are pro-choice is that they refuse to acknowledge each fetus/infant is a soul. Well there are some cases. My very dear friend had to abort her baby because the child was so severely retared and deformed that birth would have likely killed both. So she chose to abort and have others. Very sad but what are you gonna do? But I believe that abortion is not a birth control.

"I agree that there is never a situation in the law or in the ethical practice of medicine where a preborn child's life need be intentionally destroyed by procured abortion for the purpose of saving the life of the mother. Well that may be true, but are you suggesting that she die along with the unborn baby? If so than that would be suicide, which in my book is the same as murder. Suicide is an unforgivable sin.Many hundreds of physicians was not her physiician. I do not agree with abortion, but to SAVE a life it is better than losing TWO LIVES.

Removing an ectopic is not abortion because the embryo never survives and the pregnancy never continues.Also the fallopian tube will eventually burst and this endangers the mothers life,so it is necessary to remove the ectopic pregnancy.

The bursting of th fallopian tube due to there being an embryo in it has serious consequences and is fatal or difficult for the doctors to stabilise the womans health when it comes to that stage,which is why it is better to act before it would be difficult or too late.

The brain stops growing when a child is 6 years old(six years after birth) and the brain is fully developed at 25 years old(25 years after birth).If one is to follow the poor 'reasoning' of pro"choicers",then no one is human until he or she is 25 years old or 6 years old.By the way I am against abortion and I also am against atrocities against women(see my feminism issues playlist of other peoples videos.

So called "pro-choicers" vote for the very legislation that enables the murder of the innocent and then they pretend to be innocent. "Pro-choicers" support the murder of the innocent -- something that you will be accountable for on your judgement day. -An atheist can be pro-life.
-A liberal or democrat can be pro-life.
