I read once a long time ago that Sandra Bullock was going with a songwriter named Bob Schneider. So I looked him up online, and WOW....I fell in love.
Finally saw Bob play this song live this past weekend in Boston -- so incredible especially as he had his voice go through some sort of distortion mic. I can now die happy! LOL!
This is one of the coolest songs I have ever heard! If this song does not put your heart and head right...well...may the good Lord help you. Well done bubba! Come on over to Atlanta!
I so agree with you. Bob is criminally underrated or rather the masses just don't know what they are missing! The more I listen to him, the more I love his music in all its forms. This song makes my heart sing!
i dig this song a lot, but i like the other version better. the distorted acoustic bass is pretty choice. If you guys haven't listened to it it's on the Divine secrets of the ya-ya sisterhood soundtrack.
The version of this on the Ya-Ya soundtrack was how I first discovered all things Bob.
I love that he did a Simlish version of Getting Better for the Sims 2 Apartment Life. I screamed for the entire song when it first came on in the game. That is my favorite Bob Schneider song and one of my most favorite songs of all time.
Yes, very nice. Very good idea, goes so well with the song. I like this effect, quite simple, yet spectacular. Enigma has a music video done this way "Return to Innocence". I suppose sand and water in particular give an amazing effect when played backwards in slow motion.
aw i miss this song
