You gotta love how in Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat when they first came out, they had to "Pallet Swap" colors for characters(which is why in MK 1 and SF 2, Sub Zero and Scorpion and Ryu and Ken look almost identical) to save space. Now it's set in stone. Could you imagine if they gave Ken a black gi instead of a red one?

@DukeNukem2020 in CE, his hurricane kick spins faster and his dragon punch now hits two times instead of one. in HF, he can now do his hurricane kick in the air as well as from the ground. those are the only differences.

@DukeNukem2020 the game was called street fighter 2 TURBO: HYPERFIGHTING. turbo and hyperfighting were both the same game and part of the title together. you are confusing that turbo was an iteration on its own followed by or preceding a version called hyperfighting. there were only 3 classic original games. world warrior, champion edition, turbo hyperfighting. turbo is often left out of the hyperfighting mention for the sake of shortening. bosses are playable starting in CE.

@DukeNukem2020 WW had 1 costume color. CE brought 1 more for a total of 2 selectable colors. HF brought another one for a total of 2 selectable colors. you cannot choose the CE color in HF, only WW or HF. same with CE. you can only choose CE or WW color in CE. in WW, you only had one color choice. super street fighter 2 turbo was where you could choose up to 7 or 8 colors. that was awesome. ken had the gold and also the green gi, same with ryu. you could also select WW colors
