so making Blacks, Latinos, Whites, Asians equal is racist, and discriminatory? o wait its democrats speaking, what do i expect? if you are required to drive a car with a photo ID, then doing something like electing officials to RUN the country should require a photo ID. if you thinks its suppression votes, than your wrong, its not allowing ILLEGAL immigrants, dead people, people who vote twice, to not vote. i dont get who democrats can even argue that this is wrong.

here, everyone in the household get sent a card with their name on it. This card is then handed in at the election place and you get a voting list (list of people and parties to vote for). That way, no one can vote more than once, unless they have multiple cards to hand in, which of course will all have different names on them. So it's an ID of sorts, but without photo.

The voter caging I'm talking about is doing stuff like sending flyers to low income areas with false information about voting. The wikipedia entry on this has a pretty good summary on this but wait let me guess wikipedia is full of liberal lies. Requiring voter IDs is so easy to use as a means to suppress votes. It's as easy as shutting down DMV offices in select areas areas which Governor Walker has literally done.

in any case it's a violation of section 5 of the 1965 voting rights act the state has to prove it won't alienate certain segments from voting, which it does since the minorities, elderly, the poor and students are less likely to have proper id

You just disproved your argument for not getting an ID with saying lazy ins't a protected class since thats the only reason why someone wouldn't get a state ID. How hard is it to go to the DMV and fill out an application? that takes what? an hour of your day? How are they different you? these place all require you to show identification to be able to use their services if not they would lose their licenses. So obviously your claim that 50% didn't have ID's is a lie.

In Georgia you have to show an ID to vote! I think every state should require/mandate a photo ID for voting!

This is how we vote in Taiwan: every voter has a data entry from gov't census bureau. You are listed to vote whether you do or do not, and assigned to specific booth automatically. Your national ID, with a photo on it, has to be checked, and you have to sign on voter's list, then you get to vote. Fraud still happens but it's very hard in populated area. Nothing is perfect, but not checking photo ID is ridiculous.
