so making Blacks, Latinos, Whites, Asians equal is racist, and discriminatory? o wait its democrats speaking, what do i expect? if you are required to drive a car with a photo ID, then doing something like electing officials to RUN the country should require a photo ID. if you thinks its suppression votes, than your wrong, its not allowing ILLEGAL immigrants, dead people, people who vote twice, to not vote. i dont get who democrats can even argue that this is wrong.
You could take a county in Texas w/100 people - maybe 50 are old enough to vote, probably around 50% are Hispanic w/ no birth certificate but have been voting for yrs, but will no longer be able to --IT'S CALLED VOTER SUPPRESSION
here, everyone in the household get sent a card with their name on it. This card is then handed in at the election place and you get a voting list (list of people and parties to vote for). That way, no one can vote more than once, unless they have multiple cards to hand in, which of course will all have different names on them. So it's an ID of sorts, but without photo.
By saying its discriminatory to blacks and hispanics Democrats are actually showing their racist side since their implying that blacks and hispanics are too lazy or too stupid to get voter ID's like everyone else.
@Joe402 - How about you make such a video? Oh that’s right you do not post videos you just troll YouTube and criticize others who post videos. Now I understand.
As for “voter caging” it is typical of your type to vilify any attempt to eliminate voter fraud. Perhaps if Democrats did not allow the dead to continue to vote, such attempts to verify voters would not be necessary. Cause and effect.
I'm too busy working. I'll make a video when I retire.
The voter caging I'm talking about is doing stuff like sending flyers to low income areas with false information about voting. The wikipedia entry on this has a pretty good summary on this but wait let me guess wikipedia is full of liberal lies. Requiring voter IDs is so easy to use as a means to suppress votes. It's as easy as shutting down DMV offices in select areas areas which Governor Walker has literally done.
@Joe402 - Your continued (trolling) criticism of videos while not posting any of your own, is equivelient to the person who does not vote, then complains about those who get elected. If you do not vote, shut up, same about not posting videos.
The blank “uploads” on your channel bankrupts your comments.
@PropagandaBuster Tony you are one right wing neo nazi jap lover. Make a video about lunatics dropping a nuclear bomb over nagasaki and hiroshima killing hundreds of thousands of innocent children, make a video about jap lunatics creating a brutal human testing lab such as unit 731. HYPOCRITE and BIGGOT PRICK
@Joe402 The problem with Wikipedia is that ANYONE can edit the articles. So you can't believe everything you read on there whether the article is for Republicans or Democrats.
in any case it's a violation of section 5 of the 1965 voting rights act the state has to prove it won't alienate certain segments from voting, which it does since the minorities, elderly, the poor and students are less likely to have proper id
You can say the same thing about voter registration, if I don't then I can't vote and according to what you said that alienates me from voting so it should be illegal.
@LeeroyFan101 no because lazy isn't a protected class. gambling, drinking, smoking, and r m ovies are totally different don't try to lump them together, i never get carded and i barely look 18
You just disproved your argument for not getting an ID with saying lazy ins't a protected class since thats the only reason why someone wouldn't get a state ID. How hard is it to go to the DMV and fill out an application? that takes what? an hour of your day? How are they different you? these place all require you to show identification to be able to use their services if not they would lose their licenses. So obviously your claim that 50% didn't have ID's is a lie.
I believe that this is a great idea. Americans must show ID's to vote. it is honest. It just goes to show you that the democrats are taking advantage. It takes a coward to do what the Liberals are doing. I hope they keep the law.
The sad thing is this will probably go all the way to the supreme court instead of being realized for what it is. Politically correct lame attempt to encourage voter fraud.
Without any evidence to back it up, I lapsed into the rhetoric of various partisans and activists who contend that requiring photo identification to vote is a suppression tactic aimed at thwarting black voter participation. The truth is that the most aggressive contemporary voter suppression in the African American community, at least in Alabama, is the wholesale manufacture of ballots, at the polls and absentee, in parts of the Black Belt.
@sjagain Former Democratic Congressman Artur Davis: I’ve changed my mind on voter ID laws — I think Alabama did the right thing in passing one — and I wish I had gotten it right when I was in political office. When I was a congressman, I took the path of least resistance on this subject for an African American politician.
Well in Europe this would make sense as pretty much everyone has a photo ID. However in the US they're a lot rarer. I heard less than a third of you guys have a Passport!
Now that I've seen the full video I can actually comment on the issue. I don't understand why it's "discriminatory" against anyone. It's not like they're specifically targeting black or latino voters and carding them, the rules apply to everyone.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Tony, there's almost no voter fraud anywhere in America, these laws are designed to stop minorities from voting as they are statistically less likely to be in possession of a photo ID.
Honestly, this entire issue is nothing but neo-republicans trying to oppress minorities. What was the name of the ranch that Rick Perry owned again? Was it Niggerhead ranch? Yeah, that's the one.
If you care about mandating photo ID, cough up the millions and pay for it or shut up.
@ihaterobbie123 "there's almost no voter fraud anywhere in America". You lost all credibility with that statement. Pull your head out of the democratic parties ass, and do some research!
@sjagain I'm sorry, would you like me to say something else that's true? The sky's blue, pigs don't fly, there's very little voter fraud...oh wait, I already said that.
The reason why I know there's not much voter fraud is because if it was the case then it would be a national scandal in the news EVERY SINGLE DAY until it was corrected. What you're suggesting is a political doomsday scenario, politicians would be fired over this.
If you say the words "liberal media" I may just cry with laughter.
Its not that he has no argument its just he saw early on that you're one of those nuts that will just keep spouting baseless nonsense fueled by either your own opinions or conspiracy theories.
Your opening statement alone proves that, hell a quick Google search will prove you wrong so its obvious you're one of those nutters that the general public just ignores since you make yourself look like you're a loon by saying these types of idiotic things.
Are you stupid? I just told you the reason no one wants to talk to you since you're one of those nutters that will just go on and on and on and on using whatever you can grasp at to keep your argument going.
Do you honestly think you can sucker me into having a debate with you?
@ihaterobbie123 Why are minorites less likly to be in possesion of a photo ID? Because they can't be bothered to get one? Because they are illegal and shouldn't be here in the first place? Because they can't speak english? Because the can't fill out the forms and don't know anybody (like the required translators my state has at the DMV)? or is it just because it's too inconvient for them to have to be responsible for themselves like the rest of AMERICA?
@bigskip2121 minorities are less likely to be in possession of a photo id because they're less likely to own vehicles, so no need for a drivers license. it's also discriminatory against the elderly, who also don't drive and students. it's been proven, if you look at south carolina where they tried to enact this 50% of nonwhite voters didn't have id, in one county it was 73# of nonwhite voters, now who do nonwhites usually vote for?
Thats bullshit since if that were true then 50% of nonwhite voters don't consume alcohol, gamble, watch movies that are rated R, buy video games that are rated M, buy cigarettes, etc. Since all these establishments check for your ID when you partake in them, the only time they don't is if you visually look ancient and they are sure there's no way you can be under 21.
@ihaterobbie123 Not really, there were people caught during the last election, voting in NY City... then flying down to Florida (winter homes) and voting there also. Whats wrong with having proper documentation?
No Perry didn't own the ranch, his family rented it and from what I've read painted over the name when they rented it. Not like he named the place
