@heyyalma Right but I don't believe his character, I don't believe that he's some with eidetic memory or Asperger's syndrome, instead I believe it's some actor standing in a set reading lines he probably doesn't understand from a prompter. Also I am currently at uni studying acting and have been acting since I've been about 7, yes I do think I could portray his character way better and funnier than he could.

@mann2411 Well, that is YOUR opinion. I know someone with Asperger's and Jim Parsons is excellent at portraying how the syndrome works and is. As for the memory thing, his character is meant to sound robotic-like, it's even stated in the show from other characters. It's the way Eidetic memory works. He is a great Sheldon Cooper, which is why he is receiving much recognition.

@heyyalma Difference of opinions I guess, all I'm saying is that when I watch the show I don't laugh or feel sad or happy for the characters, especially when I watch Jim I become very aware that I'm watching someone (the laugh track put after every sentence helps too). Quite frankly I don't believe that Sheldon would willingly give money to Penny one day and not care about it and then the next day attempt to train her with chocolates. I don't mind characters changing but they should grow

@mann2411 uh yes they do exist, its called Asperger's disease. Jim does a great job on the show. You aren't supposed to "like" every character. His character is annoying but that's the part he plays. I found him hard to watch the first episode after that, I started understanding him more and more and now I love sheldon cooper!
