when u measure waves its from the water level to the top of the wave on the backside, which those maybe are like 2ft. not trying to knock it or anything, i just moved to milwaukee from california and i'm dying to surf the lake.

I was in New Buffalo in decenber of 1997 going to truck driving school, the waves were as big then. Long live the freshwater surfer!
