  • youre beautiful. that is all.

  • great info... I have used some of your from recommendations (from another one of your videos( and I have noticed GREAT success for your 4-step process... Thanks for all your help..

  • I'm a girl, why am I watching this?...well, you see, there is an incredibly handsome guy talking on my screen and I'm mesmorized

  • i just use rubbing alcohol after shaving.. lol is that bad?

  • where did u get that blue basket?

  • do you use any night creams?

  • OMGEE You're soooo pretty!

  • What is your advice for men who go to the beach frequently? Should we use less exfoliator because of the natural things in the water? I'm not sure if its counterproductive to use the same routine if I go to the beach.

  • @XZekeZapataX You need to.

  • Ross thanks for all the good info and video. My question is at night time do you use the tretinoin cream and then your evening moisturizer and if so how long after you apply the tretinoin do you put the moisturizer on? I also have a Rx for tretinoin and I'm just trying to figure out which to use first. Thanks for all the great help, and keep it up.

  • you use sooo many chemicals... are you sure thats good for your skin?

  • and also, Do you purchase Paula's Choice online or do any stores carry the brand?

  • How long does your Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid normally last you in terms of months? I tend to shave every day because I'm not a fan of facial hair on myself, and I tend to get razor bumps and irritation on my neck area. (I don't usually ever get any irritation on my face though.) Or, do you know any other products that work well with razor irritation?

  • Hey! can you tell me how to get pink lips for men. Cause i smoke alot and cant stop smoking, but i still want my lips looks pink. is their any product which you know and which you think will make my lips pink or orange? plz let me know. But it shouldn't look like lip stick okay. Thanx

  • everytime i fucking buy a product i keep getting breakouts,FML

  • @1123359 sometimes it takes 10 days to 2 weeks for your skin to adapt to new products, but breakout often cause by products that are too heavy for your skin. It sits on the surface of your skin instead of absorbing therefore clog pores and cause breakouts ;-)

  • O man, This seems like a lot! 0___0 this is a everyday routine? Im Overwhelmed!

  • hmmm in my opinion skin care product is actually hit or miss. either it works or it don't. but good recommendation. like to try paula's choice and hope its a hit

  • do you use any products that combat cheek redness? we seem to have similar types of skin, it looks like you have partially rosy cheeks too, as do i, nothing that bad but it can definitely flare up

  • What camera do you use? its such good and high quality! By the way, your videos are the best!

  • I like being a skin care freak. It's kind of fun actually.

  • @GuyFawkes501 it is fun but kind of suck when a product does not work for u

  • @fiercekid84 always a pain when they make you break out

  • why not become a dermatologist? you seem to have a big passion for everything skin related

  • I heard in order to control the shine and grease of the face one should use oc-eight?

  • not trying to be mean but are you gay?..and by the way your are so hot

  • @laceyloox18 yes he is and yes hes hot

  • @ILoveTrannys89 ok :P

  • where did u get that Blue bin?

  • your skin is to die for

  • @jennopenno His skin? Just go all the way...he's to die for. <3

  • Shouldn't you cleanse>exfoliate>moisturize? That seems to make more sense. I'm not sure where shaving would fit between that, though.

  • @MensSkinCareWithRoss do you have any products for my eyes, i have the 'dark circle' thing

  • you have perfect skin.

  • Do you rotate through those skin moisturizers by using a different one everyday and repeat the cycle?

  • look like enrique !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i shave twice a day i do use the zirh line as i just started with shave care and oh at the end you have better products lol

  • those type products are good for young beginners. i recommend dr brandt

  • How much did you spend altogether in that basket of supplys

  • WoW! I thought I was the only one that has a skin routine lol Chapstick before i go to bed is a must. NIce video ! =) also, I think i may consider using the Maybeline SHine Free product =)

  • Great info Ross. I've seen some people posting offensive as your gay and stuff. Personally I'm a bit of a type A alpha male type and I do take really good care of my skin, it has nothing to do with being gay. Actually, a lot of girls are into gay guys because they look a lot better than straight guys, because they take better care of themselves.

So insecure guys, how is getting more girls by taking good care of yourself gay? Have fun standing in the corner alone being "masculine'.....

  • God! I love the Zirh shave gel. I love the Zirh product line. The cleanser is great because it is exfoliating from alphahydroxy and gentle at same time.

  • While you may deem eye cream to be unnecessary because a moisturizer can have the same benefits on the eye area as the face, do you honestly have the same concerns around your eyes as you do on the rest of your skin? Most likely not.

  • @aaronpaul06 eyes don't need anything different than the skin on the rest of your face whatsoever. You may have slightly different issues around the eye but can be treated the same way as the rest of the face.

  • I really like your videos thxs

  • My favourite cleanser is PCASkin Facial Wash Phaze1, and favourite moisturizer is La Roche-Posay Toleriane Facial Fluid. And some other stuff....

  • Are you a model????lol you seem like a model..juss sayinnn

  • what do u use in the morning and what do u use at night?

  • Would you recommend cetaphil?

  • You have a little buddha statue. OMMM !

  • OMG! Just freaked!

I was reading thru a page recommending Paula's Choice cleanser for my blackhead problem, while watching your video, and coincidentally you recommend the same product!

Will be buying it ASAP! Thank you soo much for all your advice!

  • hey man i am became fan of u ..no homo bro...but u inspire me alot.. before i didnt use nothing for skin ..

but i will now...hehe lolz...but can u tell me how to fix baldness on ur hair ..?? if u know...and how could i find out what exactly kinda skin i have and after finding out what could i use for acne ??

  • Have you had a nose job?

  • @efroggys funny i was thinking the same thing :P

  • I have oily skin. Do I really need a moisturizer?

Also I have huge pores on my nose and where my nose meets my face. What is the best way to minimize these and clean the pores out?

  • Hello, do you know how well your balancing cleanser would remove makeup?

Does the retin a prescript. you use dry your skin? I'm using retin a gel .01% and its drying only on my chin. Do you if retin a gel is better or worse than retin a micro? Like is the micro gentler?

Have you watched any of kathy spears videos? she an amazing esthetician, & she warns against too much exfoliation, as does Dr Johnson with Osmosis skin care, Very interesting, but confusing, You might find them interesting :)

  • What`s the difference between mens skin care routine and womens? I'm a woman and if I took tips from a video like this would it work for my skin? (You just sound so trustworthy I want to take tips from you too, but I'm not a guy)

  • @natsishere I guess the difference would be when it comes to make up, because women are more prone to apply make up than guys, and also another diff. would be that we need to shave, which for people with sensitive skin it may be a problem (causing blemishes and other stuff xD). Apart from that I think it doesn't matter too much =) [I'm no expert whatsoever so don't rely on me hahahh]

  • Hey Ross! first thx for sharing these infos! 2nd i was just wondering what would you recommend for oily dark (dark as in iam colored lol) face skin, i had bad acnee as a kid and have spots on my skin. I hwas wondering what would you recommend for a face wash and mosterizer? thx so much!

  • Thank you very much !!

  • tretinonin. :)

  • I'm glad I'm not the only ones with extravagant routines..u should look into hydrating serums for the face.. Goes on before moisturizer... And helps absorb and retain moisture... Let's just view it as a primer for ur moisturizer jam packed with vitamins and goodness

  • Very good advices on skin care. Not sure if you have mentioned it in your video, but having a good diet plays a big role in clear skin. Whenever you get the time, I'm very interested in watching a video about the daily foods you eat for your skin. I currently drink a glass of green tea + fresh lemon juice every morning. Eliminate all fried foods/sweets. Been doing this for 3 weeks and I see great improvement. I want to see what else I can add/remove in my diet. Thanks!

  • I prefer the Schick Hydro 3 razor - The Fusion is just too damn big, ugly, and overpriced. For shaving creams I really like Kiss My Face Cool Mint Moisture Shave or Dermatologica Shave Gel. The kiss my face is an exceptional value at $4. That said these details probably don't matter as much if you're only shaving twice a week. I've got to shave EVERY day!

  • if u use sun screan how its posible your nice tan?

  • Youre neck dosent look white thanks for the tips and you have nice skin and a sweet hair cut!! :D

  • dude you are a saint... great info.

  • You are beautiful Ross

  • I am also thinking of going back on the accutane again in the future or going back to a perscription as they seem to work so well in comparsion to what is available in a regular store. Not everything will work for everyone but I am glad you are posting this helpful info for everyone else!

  • I like your video..but do you actually get pimples or any really serious acne? I ask because I went on accutane at 15 and again at 20. I have been clear up until about a year ago. I noticed when I eat too much sugar, it gets BAD (and I tested it to be sure that sugar makes it worse). I often wonder if diet + taking care of skin is the best way to go about it.

  • HAWWWWWWWWWWT

  • this is wonderful! i am skincare obssessed too and its great to see men taking charge of caring for their skin too! all this stuff isn't just for women. you look gorgeous! <3

  • the parabens and the etc oxybenzone i believe one of the main chemical sunscreens have been found to be dangerous...Zinc Oxide (physical sunscreen) seems to be safe (enough), what you think?

  • How much make-up is that queen wearing really? And why on earth does he use pharmacy stuff? That's so cheap!

  • Hey, thanks for providing so much advice! Your skin is fantastic.

For those of us who are just starting out with skin care, or don't want to spend a fortune, can you suggest a top 3 must have products?

  • I can't figure out where to get a decent circle brush for my face. Do you have any reccomendations?

  • I used Ziana gel for a couple of years but I can't say that I really noticed a difference. It was super expensive too ($500 for one tube!) so you better have a decent copay on your insurance plan.

  • I have the same electric face brush! lol. You have so many of the same products as me. I just got the new Olay face brush and it's really nice :)

  • Also I can't find any cleanser and scrub without alcohol but that doesn't matter that much

  • I can't find a good moisturizer with SPF15 where i live (Netherlands) can anyone help me?=O Or at least I can't find any under €20 only around €40 and thats kinda too expensive for me=O

  • Have you used Paula's RESIST line?

  • i used to use gillette fusion as my main razor. However i just switched over to the schick hydro. The hydrating gel i found lasts longer than the comfort strip on the gillette. I also got a closer shave with this razor. Just wondering if you have tried it?

  • @tec16 have you tried wet shaving, with a badger brush, and a safety razor? check it out...best way to shave, little to no irritation after you get used to it

  • i love paula's choice

  • You should have a website (and sell your recommended items - like a store with no overheads). Skin care is obviously something you (ahem) get off on ;-). Serious though... I live in Japan, I don't know what's good or bad here so thought of following your guidance... Tried to find out where/how to get these products online. Some are like $10 on the shelf in the US, and Amazon.com is charging $37 delivery. Err...

But....I have a problem a have a really big wrinkle in the middle of my forehead from when I was a kid I used to do that confused thinking look all the time and it's like totally permanent ! • HI Ross! Recently subbed to your channel. I think you are really cute. Aside from that, I have a question, I am glad you use store brand as well as sephora stocked brands because they are sometimes expensive... have you ever tried "Vitamin C" from Avalon Organics? It's maker created it without parabens and all that bad stuff it's just uber natural, I know you like synthetics too, It's loaded with VitC I think it's great, what do you think of it? Thanks!

  • Do you wear any kind of make up? Tell us about it! Your skin looks absolutely perfect. Skin care geek LOL

  • your advices are amazing and your skin is simply flawless...unfortunately most of the products you're using are not that easy to find outside US but I'll be definetely looking them up =) so thank you

  • OMG u have an aweful lot of skincare products! I feel like I'm not doing enough, that's why I keep getting blemishes and have so many scars :(

  • Hello,

Should I cleanse and moisturize once or twice a day?

    thank you!

  • my favorite moisturizer/ eye cream/ blemish-healing/ anti-wrinkle product is "100% shea butter" it's about 10 dollars at my local drugstore and lasts about 1-2months :) shea butter is organic and the best thing to use regularly... i also use it before my makeup

  • @MrJonasAndersen1 I'm kind of a skin care geek, I know wayyy too much for my own good, it would be stupid of me not to share!

  • I am so surprised that a guy can be so knowledgeable about skincare and for me to actually be familiar with those products. Its very intimidating.

  • hey sweetheart may i suggest you an amazing brand which is quite affordable? it 's a french brand called nuxe and you can find it in the department store...it s called NUXE..creme de fraiche ...or creme nirvanesque...and they've got an amazing product called huile prodigeus which is a dry oil that moisturizes your face body and hair...it's amazing...go to a department store and if they carry this brand ask for samples ..greetings from Italy..

  • What about body skin care? for stretch marks?

  • Kinerase eye cream extremely expensive? Clearly you have not been using expensive skin products... Anyway, nice video!

  • @dimitrismentes . im 19 and i have bad dark circles under my eyes. i get 8 hours of sleep a day and still nothing changes. i drink alot of water and still no improvement. do you know any eye creames that are cheap but effective?

  • @jtmoney091 SK-II - Eye Treatment Film. It's a bit pricey but I think it works wonders.

  • @dimitrismentes one more question. i use olay complete all day UV moisturizer, is it okay to use it at night or should i buy an additional moisturizer without sunscreen?

  • @jtmoney091 Better not to cram your skin with sun protectants at night. Buy something specifically designed for night care. Hope I helped

  • i have really bad keratosis pilaris on my face (cheeks). what do you think i should try on my face for this?

  • so the self tanner in this video, the sun labs, is it really good? it doesnt get orange, and does it get nice and dark, too ?

  • I have to say thank you, I've got horrible skin at the age of 21. I get breakouts and it's very much annoying, it's not severe acne in-fact it's more a mild. However I'm starting to get scars, and my derm has just given me something like your prescription.

Got so fed up, I've got a massive list here of things you've mentioned, and some! Checking reviews on them and it's going to be a very expensive start :P but hey. I'm totally worth it. Again thanks, it's clear you practise what you preach.

  • You should do a video showing us basically your daily routine for your face. Basically showing us you washing your face, etc. and the steps when applying the products

  • hey do you whiten your teeth?.. because you have really nice and white teeth. If so what do you use?

  • you have the prettiest face :)

  • I love yr chanel very much,

as I am a chinese peoson, could You make some key words for us to watch?

    thanks so watch :)

  • Great videos Ross, longtime fan here! ♥

  • Funny how you say in the beginning, if it works for you stick with it. Opposed to women, men are really product loyal. Maybe its because men don't talk about products they use to other men as opposed to women. But there's a whole untapped market open for 'beauty' products targeted at men. Thats why I like your videos, spread the word! :)

  • Are you gay? Please say yes:)))

  • @luigee78 thanks a lot buddy, appreciate the time taken to reply to me, so u leave the bha liquid on the skin u don't wash it off? you let it sink in to your skin?

  • i have seborrheic dermatitis which is basically an oily t-zone and nose, red flaky skin sides nose & eyebrows and red cheeks and a pale uneven skintone.. i get acne frequently too, at the moment i just treat it with vaseline conditioning lotion can someone reccomend something, ive been looking into the Clinique mens 3 step skin care???????

  • @MrJonasAndersen1

On Paula's website she says you can apply the BHA day or night, so I guess it's up to you...but in the samples she sent me yesterday she has a booklet that states you should tone first, then use the BHA as the toner prepares the skin and makes it receptive to the BHA...Hope this helps :)

  • You use a stippling brush for your powder but that brush is to stipple your liquid foundation so um yeh but it doesn't matter loves ya still :)

  • Can anybody tell me where they get paula's choice cleanser or bha liquid?

  • @Faze

    paulaschoice (dot) com

  • cleasne

    moisturize

    shave

    exfoliate

u supposed to do it in that order everyday?

  • i used clinique 3 step for men and i had amazing skin before i started using clinique and now a week LATER i am sitting at home covered in red blotches and tiny red spots..My skin not smooth like b4. Here is hoping i will get my clear and smooth skin back! Keep away from CLINIQUE

  • I like the maybelline better than the revlon powder. The revlon is more of a finishing powder to go with their liquid foundation. The powder sticks better with a primer underneath. I love your channel. I do hair for a living and watching your videos helps me to understand guys skin and what they can do to fix certain problems.

  • hey ross, why did you decide to use tretinoin and stop using the FAB repair cream?

  • first of thanks for the vid:

If you were asked to choose one, only one moisturizer from those you've showed us, which would it be? And why? I really don't wanna end up buying all of them.

    Thanks again.

  • Hey Ross, what bodywash do you use and/or body moisturizer? I am still battling a good bodywash.

  • you kinda lost me on the BHA exfoliating liquid. so for ex. first you cleanse, then shave, then apply the BHA liquid with the face brush (do i wash off with water after?) and then moisturize? or if your not shaving that day, cleanse, bha (leave on or wash off with water?), and then moisturize? lol i'm confused.

  • @nbkohyq003

You leave the BHA on...it stays on your skin and penetrates the skin to exfoliate

  • Comment removed

  • does anyone know where I can get the Sun Labs Strictly Faces Medium? I couldn't find it in shoppers.

  • is that paula choice face wash good for your facce if you have a few pimples?

  • Hey!! When should I switch to a different cleanser after been using 4 month cleanser?

  • I love your videos! I tried to your advice on plucking my eyebrows and they came out looking awesome.

  • omfg do you spend hours on your skin every day??!! :O

  • @ALXVid101 Hahaha Not quite!! It might seem like it, but I'm a speed demon now since I've been doing it so long!

  • @MensSkinCareWithRoss you should try the aveeno chap stick its awesome

  • Your like Patirck Bateman! LOl

  • Comment removed

  • Clearsonic is a way better face brush.

  • do you know where i can get products from paula's choice in canada?

  • Comment removed

  • @dishcake, Hey there! They don't have it in Canada sadly =(...but they're available online. =)!

  • Is your face naturally that tan color? I mean i just think it looks good. Was curious if that is something you use.

  • Your hair looks great in this video.

  • hey Ross, wat do u do if a product u buy does nt suit to ur skin type??..do u jus throw it off r sumthn?

  • is the basic routine vid he posted enough? dont wanna do all this..

  • Listen, the BEST moisturizer I've ever tried, and believe me, I've tried them ALL!! there is not one expensive or cheap brand I haven't tried.

But nothing beats Dermalogicas Barrier Repair! Its goes on like velvet and does clog anything, make your skin feel fat or sticky and stays matt without drying the skin as I find mattifying products do!

  • I've been looking for many moisturizers which don't make my skin looks gross. But I didn't find any really good ones. I'm still trying though.

    Btw,nice skin routine :D

  • I wear pure glycerin on my lips to bed at night and use the blue chapstick during the day

  • Fantastic. I need to try some of that Paula's Choice. I feel like chemical exfoliators do a better job. I feel like my skin is heavy all the time.

  • That really was an excessive amount of products, a bit overwhelming. And yet, somehow still I missed a blackhead solution product. I've got them persistently on my nose, tear duct area, and gave up trying to get rid of them. Friends of mine don't or act like they don't notice, but I still hold out hop that they're will be something out there to get rid of them. Prefer organic or pseudo-organic products myself, but will try petrochemicals if they work. Any suggestions?

  • @10aces Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid will help dislodge blackheads and prevent new ones from forming...... I'm seriously obsessed! lol

  • If you're only wearing the chapstick to bed, why does it need to have SPF or a matte finish?

  • @hurleyGRANDE He probably uses it in the morning too and double function it for night.

  • @MrLyrox I guess that would make a lot of sense.

  • Have combo skin and found that Philosophy hope in a jar works for me since it moisturizes for a long time but I have no shine or greasy appearance. Paula's choice cleanser and exfoliating liquid works for me to keep my skin clear. awesome stuff.

  • your prescription is similar to accutane that is tretinoin taken orally...

  • I love watching SkinCareWithRoss!

  • do you apply the tretinoin cream all over your face or only in certain parts...also does it dry your skin?

  • Thanks Ross. I have a question, I saw you recommending the Make up forever HD micro finishing powder in the previous videos. Do you not use it anymore? Second question is that do you apply the self-tanner on top of the moisturizer?

  • Thanks!! Great tips :) keep the videos comin!

  • do you know how to fade acne scars? is there a regime for that?

  • @ReedRolling Someone called me out on not making enough videos for people with acne prone skin, SO I promised to make a new video specifically for viewers with acne related problems. I will touch on this then, its NOT an easy answer! Good topic!

  • @ReedRolling My Derm gave me Ziana (the prescription gel he uses) for fading acne scars. I have very minimal scars, just finished prescription med for acne and ziana works awesome getting rid of blemishes and scars. Ask your doctor for a prescription. Don't freak out if you break out when you start using it, I did, I almost stopped using it, and I am glad I didn't. The burning sensation you get from ziana goes away too the 3rd week of using it. Good Luck.

  • @ReedRolling facial mask doesn't hurt, as well as scar gel, but just to be safe, and professional, see a dermatologist...microdermabrasion, what what maybe even dermabrasian.

  • @ReedRolling Just exfoliate! Exfoliating you skin is very important so your skin renew itself more quickly. I recommend a 8 or 10% alpha hydroxy acid (glycolic acid) and a 2% beta hydroxy acid (salicylic acid) exfoliator. Your red marks will fade much quicker and you skin tone and skin surface will even out. So real scars will become less deep and visible. Paula´s choice has those products. You can also do scrubbing!

Mud and Clay masks are also great to remove dead skin cells and cleansing
